what do you do when you're super stressed out?
say you have a big problem you have to deal with. and all sorts of little problems are piling up on top of that. you're in a shitty mood. what does that mood look like? how do you deal with the problems?

I rub my temples and take deep breaths. Or I just go insane and say "Fuck" "Fuck" "Fuck"... and I'm really crabby and everything irritates me. I'll take it out on my family members.

Music and exercise. Also: random bitching/charmingness, driving to no particular destination, thinking of creative solutions/perfect worlds, escapism. It's unpredictable how I'll react.

I spend most of my time trying to think of ways to escape from or compromise with whatever is stressing me. During that time I'm pretty much totally avoidant of people and have no interest in interacting with others beyond the most basic and brief of conversations. To say I'd be irritable and severely lacking in patience with others is an understatement.

If I can't find a solution I'll attempt to convince myself that whatever is stressing me is not a big deal...this is pretty bad when it actually IS a big deal, though. It's just my last resort form of escapism, essentially calming myself down and preparing and manuevering myself to take the minimal impact from the consequences.

It depends on how stressed i am. But my reactions can vary from passing around and cursing to banging my head against the furniture(like i said, it depends).

Even if you could find a solution, somebody would fuck it up, or whatever... it would ultimately turn out this way, why waste energy resisting the inevitable... And life is a series of mistakes, and then you die... so it doesn't really matter if [insert stressful situation here].

I'll try to think of solutions, onceI come up with one, ifit doesn't work I have a total bitch fit.
I get stressed a lot though, so I've mostly just learned to deal with it.

@OP

I think about death and about how "useful" it is that I feel this way. I try to reason with the feeling but it comes with the side effect of over-apathy---yet it's an exchange I would consider "fair trade".

Do these "Do you do X? threads" serve as a medium for your comparative analysis? which may perhaps include the confirmation of your own type?

I drum. I listen to music and I avoid people. I have a couple friends whom I trust and who I may tell a little of it to. Then they'll tell me about their stresses and I'll attempt to give solutions. This may be "un-INTP" but helping people out really helps me forget about my stresses for a little while.

Then when I'm alone I'll think about it constantly up until I come up with either something to do about it, convince myself it doesn't matter, or stuff it down to come out later while I drum. The latter is perfectly healthy. :D

When in a stressful mood of any kind, I always listen to music, has to be instrumental. Walk around aimlessly outside or down my road thinking about the possibilities of a better outcome for whatever the reason may be. Sometimes I just lay down in bed and day dream about whatever, usually a better world. sometimes I have driven away in my car just to be doing something.
