Post an uncommon or common song others might like. You are taking a chance. The idea is SOMEBODY will want to play this again. A line of intro for recalling the song later would be helpful. Also a line on your reaction to the previous song.

Where do you find this stuff Ducky lol, I'm not sure if I could sit down to listen to it but it's clearly quite impressive :P

YouTube- Dialeto - Dialeto

Eastern/ King Crimson influenced Prog rock. This song at parts sounds like a more progressive version of the Pixies.

That song must have special meaning for you Anamelech.

This one was on an album I found while vacationing in Curacao Island. Never heard of this guy but his album was great.

I actually did listen to it twice, but mostly because I got distracted for a long while after the first time so I went back and replayed it so I'd know what I was talking about before posting my own. Even so, it's a good song.

YouTube- Jon Hassell - Nature Boy

This one haunts the quiet corners of my mind; staying with me for days at a time.

I'm afraid I am not much of a Vampire Weekend fan, though I understand the appeal.

This is quite possibly my favorite live performance - Larks tongue in aspic - King Crimson
I love how chaotic sounding music expresses only a perceived chaos, for the music is in fact highly ordered and tends to be more ordered than music that does not express chaos.

YouTube- Lark's Tongues in Aspic, King Crimson

Its almost childlike in its creativity.

YouTube- Russian Basso Profondo: The Lowest Voices

YouTube- Chat Roulette Funny Piano Improv #1

YouTube- Starcraft Terran Theme 2 - piano cover

YouTube- Bartok: Solo Violin Sonata ("Melodia")

Funny, from those vids you wouldn't guess most of my music is prog metal.

I've listened to four vids so far in this thread! 1st post was cruelty to my ears (country's not for me sorry!). 2nd post was really interesting, but I haven't listened to it a second time yet :P. Then I skipped down to Larks Tongues in Aspic Pt 1, which was strange to say the least. Part 2 (or at least the cover I've heard of it) is more to my liking, this seemed too sparse. Then I skipped to Gojira - World to Come. From the intro, I thought it was going to be some happy stuff played in a heavy way, and so I was ready to close it until I heard that horrific flat note which put a smile on my face fast and reminded me of Dolorian. However nothing yet has intrigued me enough for a second listen! Larks and 2nd post would likely grow on me if I listened to it more though, if.

ZXC - Merton is hilarious. I've seen that video before. Have you seen the one where Ben Folds does the same thing? Ode to Merton.

Yep I have! I like Merton's style more though! Merton's got a new one out now too, #3. I was going to watch it tonight/today but I think I'm too tired to enjoy it properly, and the first two were so good that I don't want to spoil it by being asleep through it.

I prefer Merton's also, but I think there being a huge crowd is humorous on it's own, since people aren't expecting it. I haven't even see number two yet. I think I put off watching number two for a similar reason you are putting off watching number three, except I forgot. Perhaps I'll go do that now.

Excellent choice. It's not just the song. Dean Martin is a performer no INTP could ever duplicate.

Here is another performer I must have played at least 30 times. It's called "Simply Irresistible" by Robert Palmer. I'd never heard of him until someone pointed him out. Some may hate this song, but after playing it and watchng his message, I find it impossible to believe someone has not found some woman somewhere "simply irresistible."

YouTube- Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible

Notice none of these girls ever smiles making them generic.

Nyx. I have no idea what I just heard, but I rather enjoyed both of them. I will be back to play them again.
