I would not care about whether the world 'must' end or not. Sometimes I consider that it should happen, but most often I really don't care.

For me. I have about as many opportunities as anyone could wish for, yet my mindset is fundamentally slightly misfit with that of the rest of society, and a bunch of other things. Plus, I'm a nihilist, so if it works for me, then the world might as well end.

I think it would have been interesting if there was, say, a zombie apocalypse. If we all just suddenly died that'd be boring, but I wouldn't really care, because I'd be dead. Something that brings society to its knees and tests how we cope with extreme conditions though... I'd love that. I'd be a tad upset because there'd be more no scientific advancement, but on the other hand, I get to kill tons of shit with no negative consequences. It's not like all those lives really mattered anyway.

I find the idea process interesting but the end result would be dreadful and I would not so much enjoy that. Nor do I care for the destruction of life and pain that would incur as a result.
