(Edit: Oh, right, introduction. Hi, I'm James, and people confound me.)

Do you find yourself collecting ideas? I'm curious.

I've recently come to realize the sheer magnitude of my Google Docs directory, a vast expanse of conjecture in each and every imaginable mode of thought. Seemingly contradictory theories, random postulations, inventions, and various other mental ejaculate pours into every vein of thought. I've even begun collecting seemingly useless information, like upcoming game release dates, or postulating completely useless ideas, like a proof dictating socially acceptable upper and lower age extremes in dating.

As we all seemingly share personality traits with one another (obviously in varying degrees) as defined by the MBTI, I figured you'd be the best group to compare personal traits with.

I see two possibilities;
1: I'm right.
2: I'm fucked.

(Although, I think I may be fucked in both potential outcomes. Fuck.)

Welcome to the forums. And you're obviously fucked.
Just kidding, collecting random knowledge is really cool. I wish I cared enough to do that on a large scale.

(MY FIRST POST TOO!!!)

Yes, I do collect ideas, the kind you call useless, seldomly something that'd be useful in a professional setting. When I've been thinking about something for a while and formulated a theory about it in my head, I feel an urge to write it down in case I might need this insight later on in life. I keep my little ideas in my secret blog, along with things-i-need-to-do-before-friday notes and this-is-an-awesome-song notes <-- other stuff that I don't want to forget.

To give an example, one of my posts could be a line of thought that reaches a conclusion to whether I should or shouldn't lie in certain situations.

Wow, sometimes I really wish I did things like Thedrcome and Anima do, but when start something like that, I just get bored very quickly. I envy you.

When I've been thinking about something for a while and formulated a theory about it in my head, I feel an urge to write it down in case I might need this insight later on in life.

I also feel an urge, but by the time I get to a writing medium, the inspiration is long gone. It's sad really. :slashnew:
