"Irony: the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect."

See, I wasn't actually saying that I think all FJs are like that. I was just mocking the idea that anybody who at any point ever seems to show a trait stereotypically associated with a particular letter or type must be that type. What you all are doing to me.

So no need to get snarky. You're not going to outwit me bro. Dozens try every day and fail miserably. Don't become a statistic.

I have an itch that needs scratching. I feel the need to point out holes in people points of view or arguments regardless if I agree with their end view or not. The fact that it exists bothers me and I need to fix it like a spot on my shirt.

I was not intending to type you, only point out where your argument fell short.

No, I did not give you enough credit. You were fully aware of what I was trying to do with my latest post. I don't think you give everyone here enough credit either. I don't think they resort to such silly stereotypes. You only have to worry about the fresh blood. Every so often someone comes in and starts generalizing about different types. INTP = smart, INTP = lazy, INTJ = smartest, Se and Si = simple mided etc.... For a second I thought you were one of those people. Seems I was wrong and am finding myself perhaps starting to respect you.

So what about a real intro? That is a rarity. A lot of us don't like talking about ourselves but that is the point of an intro. :)

Where did you learn so much about MBTI? What are your experiences with forums. You seem to know a lot about social and technical dynamics of forums.
Personal life? Hobbies? etc...

Ha, well, I can definitely relate to that.

Alright fair enough. Maybe in my sarcasm I wasn't being straightforward and clear enough. Sorry for any confusion and I get that you would be wary based on past experiences with those kinds of people.

True on all counts and a good point.

Where did you learn so much about MBTI?

Mostly started learning about it online, where else these days? I would hardly say I'm obsessed with it or anything, and I don't treat it like a religion or way of life like some people seem to, but I have found it to be a fairly useful tool to size people up. It's far from perfect and it's not a science, but it has its uses and I find the concepts behind it interesting. It opened my eyes to start analyzing people's behavior more and made it so that I could start seeing the patterns in their behavior just about everywhere. I realized just how predictable this species is. I now have a better idea of how a certain person might react to a certain thing, which is nice even though it won't universally apply across the board. It's also nice to have names to associate with the kinds of people and motivations that I always recognized in the past, but never knew exactly what to call or what tied them together. Besides that, I like it because I've found it to be a useful tool to learn more about myself and improve myself. It made me more aware of my shortcomings and made me consciously focus on trying to account for them and adjust them.

What are your experiences with forums. You seem to know a lot about social and technical dynamics of forums.

Really? To be honest, I'm not hugely experienced with them. I have been a member of various boards in the past, but I haven't stuck around for all too long at most of them because either I got bored or because of some stupid drama involving other members. But yeah, figuring the social/technical dynamics out is something that didn't take much time.

Personal life? Hobbies? etc...

In my spare time, I like to oppress the Social Justice Warriors of Tumblr and uphold the patriarchy by simply existing, given that I am a white heterosexual male.

But really, there's not a whole lot to say here. I'm a full time student right now, working on becoming a blood-sucking lawyer, so right now my personal life is pretty boring and I don't have too much time for hobbies.
