I would like everyone's opinion on a current line of thought I have been taking towards intuition and sensation.

Theory:

Intuitives' worlds are defined by abstractions and semantics, where as sensors worlds are defined by the concrete and unique. Therefore, to an intuitive, specific experiences or objects are treated as examples of categories, principles, and ideas, which are the "world". Sensors on the other hand look at specific experiences and objects as being the world, and categories, principles, and ideas as simply being a mental shorthand for organizing the world.

Another way of putting it might be, is the world made of language or do we use language to describe the world? Does the universe unfold the way it does because of math or is math a way for us to understand the world?

I don't think that all intuitives will believe one or the other, but i believe that the mental worlds of intuitives and sensors are set up such that one side (categories/abstractions vs. experiences/objects) is dominant and perceived as "reality" and the other is seen as being derivative.

Thoughts?

My focus isn't on whether or not these are true for the actual world, but on whether or not this is a good model for defining how intuitives and sensors experience things.

Thanks for the links, Vrecknidj.
