note: don't be a fucking douche and lie in an attempt to be "original," just say what you fucking see -.-

SEE SECOND POST SPOILER TO TAKE TEH TEST URSELF!!! BEFORE READING MOAR

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rorschach_test

so I recently had the chance to take teh MMPI and teh rorshach inkblot test^ (lol I've been trying to get a free IQ test as well), fortunately I hadn't read too much on either beforehand, but did take the initiative after the tests to read it as to not bias too much...fun stuff, read the links for more insight.

It's nice comparing my own responses to the majority of peoples, as is done, obviously can only account for certain minor differences/cultural differences, but scroll down on the inkblot wiki link to read what they mean, or rather see what you see first.

Responses to them can provide indications about how a subject is likely to manage feelings of anger or physical harm. This card can induce a variety of sexual responses.

Only about 50% of my response link up to the most* responses.

may provide information about how the subject relates with other people (specifically, response latency may reveal struggling social interactions).

...just nifty and fun to think about xD

lol, I kept seeing fucking human anatomy (e.g., heart, kidneys, lungs, pelvis[especially pelvis A LOT], instead of what other people saw :eek: :eek: swear2fuckinggod the university better not have a profile on me

when u r finished, i srsly recommend reading the entire link about the test, it's good stuff, esp on cultural differences.

wiki said:
The differences in form quality are attributable to purely cultural aspects: different cultures will exhibit different "common" objects (French subjects often identify a chameleon in card VIII, which is normally classed as an "unusual" response, as opposed to other animals like cats and dogs; in Scandinavia, "Christmas elves" (nisser) is a popular response for card II, and "musical instrument" on card VI is popular for Japanese people),[67] and different languages will exhibit semantic differences in naming the same object (the figure of card IV is often called a troll by Scandinavians and an ogre by French people).[68] Many of Exner's "popular" responses (those given by at least one third of the North American sample used) seem to be universally popular, as shown by samples in Europe, Japan and South America, while specifically card IX's "human" response, the crab or spider in card X and one of either the butterfly or the bat in card I appear to be characteristic of North America.

The Rorschach test is used almost exclusively by psychologists. In a survey done in the year 2000, 20% of correctional psychologists used the Rorschach while 80% used the MMPI.[8] Forensic psychologists use the Rorschach 36% of the time.[79] In custody cases, 23% of psychologists use the Rorschach to examine a child.[80] Another survey found that 124 out of 161 (77%) of clinical psychologists engaging in assessment services utilize the Rorschach,[81] and 80% of psychology graduate programs teach its use.[9] Another study found that its use by clinical psychologists was only 43%, while it was used less than 24% of the time by school psychologists.[79]

*final note: not intended to be taken seriously, just thought it would be fun for all of you :) and can be used to see what might be on your mind, so don't look too much into it

so, what do you see? SEE SPOILERS TO TEST YOURSELF!

Please use spoilers for everyone else!
1:

wiki said:
When seeing card I, subjects often inquire on how they should proceed, and questions on what they are allowed to do with the card (e.g. turning it) are not very significant. Being the first card, it can provide clues about how subjects tackle a new and stressful task. It is not, however, a card that is usually difficult for the subject to handle, having readily available popular responses
Most common: bat, butterfly, moth

what I saw: My very first sight was a fucking human pelvis bone, after five minutes I asked if i had to see more than one thing, she said people typically do, so it took me awhile to get "flying beetle"

2:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bc/Rorschach_blot_02.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
The red details of card II are often seen as blood, and are the most distinctive features. Responses to them can provide indications about how a subject is likely to manage feelings of anger or physical harm. This card can induce a variety of sexual responses.
Most common: Two humans
four-legged animal (34%, gray parts)
animal: dog, elephant, bear 50%

What I saw: in order -> heart (obvious?), Lungs/kidneys (obvious as well?), took me a few minutes to depict the two "animals" (mostly seen as human?), depicted the seen as "ritualistic'

3:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/82/Rorschach_blot_03.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
Card III is typically perceived to contain two humans involved in some interaction, and may provide information about how the subject relates with other people (specifically, response latency may reveal struggling social interactions).
Most common: two humans/human figures/ human

what I saw: in order -> thyroid gland (in center), kidneys (on side), had to turn card upside down to depict humans (seemingly male, penises erect/sticking out?)

4:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/14/Rorschach_blot_04.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
Card IV is notable for its dark color and its shading (posing difficulties for depressed subjects), and is generally perceived as a big and sometimes threatening figure; compounded with the common impression of the subject being in an inferior position ("looking up") to it, this serves to elicit a sense of authority. The human or animal content seen in the card is almost invariably classified as male rather than female, and the qualities expressed by the subject may indicate attitudes toward men and authority. Because of this Card IV is often called "The Father Card"
Most common: animal skin/ animal hide

what i saw: https://www.google.com/search?q=buf...CwDQ&ved=0CDAQ9QEwAg&biw=785&bih=584#imgdii=_

so, close enuf right? turned upside down I saw a flower

5:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/54/Rorschach_blot_05.jpg[/bimgx]

wiki said:
Card V is an easily elaborated card that is not usually perceived as threatening, and typically instigates a "change of pace" in the test, after the previous more challenging cards. Containing few features that generate concerns or complicate the elaboration, it is the easiest blot to generate a good quality response about.
So cards 4 and 5 dldn't have that much controversy or anything, I got butterfly, and then one of those brown helicopter leaves

6:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/74/Rorschach_blot_06.jpg[/bimgx]

wiki said:
Texture is the dominant characteristic of card VI, which often elicits association related to interpersonal closeness; it is specifically a "sex card", its likely sexual percepts being reported more frequently than in any other card, even though other cards have a greater variety of commonly seen sexual contents.
most common: animal hide, skin, rug

I for the fucking life of me could not guess any of the most common, I turned the picture upside down and guessed a flower (the stem at the now bottom, and er leaves at the top)

7:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/Rorschach_blot_07.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
Card VII can be associated with femininity (the human figures commonly seen in it being described as women or children), and function as a "mother card", where difficulties in responding may be related to concerns with the female figures in the subject's life. The center detail is relatively often (though not popularly) identified as a vagina, which makes this card also relate to feminine sexuality in particular.
most common: human heads or faces, women or children

So my first immediate image was another pelvis, the whole picture no surprise, then it took me a minute to guess women (I saw them dancing back to back)

8:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/43/Rorschach_blot_08.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
People often express relief about card VIII, which lets them relax and respond effectively. Similar to card V, it represents a "change of pace"; however, the card introduces new elaboration difficulties, being complex and the first multi-colored card in the set. Therefore, people who find processing complex situations or emotional stimuli distressing or difficult may be uncomfortable with this card.
Most common: animal (not cat or dog) or 4 legged animal

Ok, so the next few are fun, including this one: I saw two geckos/lizards (the pink creatures on the sides, first, but in the center I saw: [I had to turn the card upside down to see this or anything else] -> the pink was the lungs, the center was the spinal cord, the green the pelvis, the blue either the diaphragm or other stomach/chest cavity organs.

...oh dear...I do have trouble processing emotion :D

9:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b7/Rorschach_blot_09.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
Characteristic of card IX is indistinct form and diffuse, muted chromatic features, creating a general vagueness. There is only one popular response, and it is the least frequent of all cards. Having difficulty with processing this card may indicate trouble dealing with unstructured data, but aside from this there are few particular "pulls" typical of this card.

Most common: human/none/none.

I didn't see shit for this card right side up. turn it upside down? What do I see? A nuclear explosion/mushroom cloud (no I didn't watch anything apocalyptic near this). The orange the explosion, the red/pink the actual cloud, the green just some poison gas

...oops

as another personal note: I found the cards to get fucking uglier and lest aesthetically pleasing from here on out

10:
[bimgx=200]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/32/Rorschach_blot_10.jpg[/bimgx]
wiki said:
Card X is structurally similar to card VIII, but its uncertainty and complexity are reminiscent of card IX: people who find it difficult to deal with many concurrent stimuli may not particularly like this otherwise pleasant card. Being the last card, it may provide an opportunity for the subject to "sign out" by indicating what they feel their situation is like, or what they desire to know.
Most common: crab, lobster, spider (blue)
crab, spider (37%, blue),
rabbit head (31%, light green),
caterpillars, worms, snakes (28%, deep green)

my first thoughts: This card is ugly as fuck, I like (some) abstract art, but this card hurts my fucking head, the ugly things, the ugly colors, it literally hurt my sight. I did say that. After a few more minutes of contemplation I just said everything was a fucking alien creature, reading the "most common," I can see those too now, but not at first...I suppose according to teh wiki quote I fucking don't like "concurrent stimuli." Odd as you'd suppose Ne fucking loves multi tasking, but this card I wanted to throw away.
thanks for playing!

As a side note: I did not study anatomy or view anatomy pictures at any time period close to this test :ahh:

...but just to bias EVERYONE...

[bimgx=100]http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2010/158/4/8/Human_Skeleton_by_BarbieDePlastico.jpg[/bimgx][bimgx=100]http://cdn1.bostonmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/IMG_8157-copy.jpg[/bimgx]

BUHAHAHAHAHA.

I've been having beautiful dreams about the human form lately O_o...am I becoming Cog?

... I have the urge to go to those exhibits with the humans on display....

AFAIK, FWIW, Ik Se's fucking love that shit (the human anatomy), ...dat der, could also see the interest via Si...dafuq?

Mostly spaceships, a couple antler creatures and 6 was definitely a vagina. Oh, 3 was a frog. #2 has a really nice spaceship shape in the negative space in the middle. #10 I saw very poor colour choices and ugly shapes.

Makes sense, I draw a lot of spaceships and creatures, sometimes starting with abstract shapes. I'm I think I would probably have to stop drawing for a while to get more meaningful results.

6. Bug with huge ass

So I'm kind of biased in that I already know I'm supposed to see genitalia, but I did my best to ignore my urge to play Where's Waldo with vajayjays...
1. Two gremlins that have bitten the head off of a woman wearing a long skirt.

2. A bearded man with red hair eating chocolate cake with no hands.

3. A zen cat sitting in a chair with headphones, sunglasses, and a red bow on his junk. I'd hit it.

4. Some sort of bat/dragon hybrid looking at me upside-down. I'm looking at its back. Good thing it doesn't seem aggressive. Yet.

5. A winged donkey in hellfog.

6. For some reason this reminds me of LoR's avatar transmutated into some sort of an insect perched atop whatever the hell that thing is.

7. Two female Charlie Brown faces staring at each other.

8. Two sulphuric acid-breathing beavers climbing up a pair of flags from some third world country.

9. Two witches being burned at the stake.

10. A two-man circle jerk.

*EDIT: A dude doing his thing in the mirror with his left hand and wearing a green oven mitt on his right. The yellow and brown indicate that he's into scat, and the green on the floor is a giant butt plug. :D

I mostly saw animals. I didn't look at the pictures much longer than 30-40 seconds.

1. Two Birds leaving a nest.

2. Butterfly.

3. Butterfly flying over a river fork.

4. A pine tree with swans perched on the sides, near the top (yes, I know swans don't live in trees).

5. Butterfly.

6. Amoeba with a proboscis.

7. Two primates.

8. Cross-section view of a volcano, with two creatures on its sides.

9. Two dragons rearing heads, rising from behind a series of cliffs.

10. The Eiffel tower, birds, spiders, ants, snakes.

Wish I could be bothered reading what it all means this early in the morning. So I read the wiki, I don't see what the significance of it all is.
