I'm not sure, but it's rather chilly.
I previously had an account, but my internet crashed and I couldn't get on for a while. So, I decided simply to make this new one. I didn't want to be posting too many separate threads, so I'll just put several things into this thread (as if you couldn't have deduced that from the title).

1.) How many threads per day would be considered the polite limit? Just trying to not be a nuisance.

2.) Do you find most people in your family to be of a similar mind? I'm more or less the opposite than the rest of my family as far as personality goes. Except, oddly enough, for my dad. (Heads up, irrelevant content) My parents divorced, and my dad now lives in the next state over. I never saw him much growing up, but I've found he's the only person in my family to be similar to me. I even had him take the MBTI test, and he's an INTP. Just thought I'd mention that.

3.) If you have siblings, how do you feel towards them? Do you usually get along well, or do you dislike them? (for some of you, I'll reword it to say "did you get along well?")

4.) I find that people act as their unsuppressed selves on the internet, yet this isn't always the case elsewhere. Do you show your INTP colors at your school/job? Is it based on your mood, who you are around, or something else?

Alright, I think that's good for now. Respond if you would be so kind.

1.) In your case, zero. :p Just use your reasoning.

2.) My uncle and grandfather are the closest. ENTJ and ISTP respectively.

3.) Me and my sis get along great. We have(had) occasional fights but these(those) are(were) just us letting out stress from everyone else. I never hold a grudge against her.

4.) Yes, only when I feel confident, engaged and that the audience is worthy will I be myself. Right now I'm taking philosophy and it suits my natural temperament. It's not exhausting to express my thoughts.

1)I would suggest going with the polite limit, that would be your best bet.

2)No, my family members and I are not very similar at all.

3)My two brothers and I get along fairly well, but that's just because we are not together that often. I left home for highschool 6 years ago, and have only spent a relatively small amount of time with them since, so our relationship is a bit more formal and polite due to distance.

4)I gauge my personality to fit the mood or situation I am in at the moment in a way that best serves my needs.

1) It's not about how much you post. (read till the bottom, there's a conversation about it).

2) My father is quite similar to me - IXTX wise. Not much though.

3) They're behavior is disgusting but I still love them, they are family.

4) I usually don't show my true INTP colors, I'd rather hide it - but everyone could easily type me if they tried getting to know me.

1) I don't really mind the number.

2) Dad most definitely was an INTJ (he died when I was young though), mother is an IsTJ. I get along best with my half -brother who is INFj. He is a bit emotional but we understand each other. Have a cousin who is ENTj. Have a quirky aunt who is hard to type but I get along with her well.

3) My brother and I get along well. We spent significant time just the two of us and I was always saving him from shit. I made sure he stayed fed. We talk on a regular basis and I'd die for him if it was necessary, without hesitation.

4) As an INTj I really can't hide my nature. I can but I really don't like pretending to be something that goes against the self I perceive myself to be. It quickly pisses me off. They don't like me? Oh, well. I wasn't being rude.

In reality though there is no "true" self. That was probably the weirdest lesson from my mental breakdown. That my "self" isn't something solid and is easily altered by changes in my neurotransmitters.
