My black ops 2 stats. They were a lot higher before I stopped taking the game seriously and started trolling people with ballistic knives and combat axes.

Also post some videos if you have any, Id love to see how other INTP's Play fps as far as accuracy and style goes. I dont only play FPS I play strategy games like Age of Empires and Red Alert 3. Here are some of my Gameplay videos, I dont have an Capture card, so the quality isnt the best.

It makes a nice statement to all the ignorant people who think controllers are superior to pc gaming equipment.

So it's not really surprising that people would dislike playing against you if you are effectively cheating.

So it's not really surprising that people would dislike playing against you if you are effectively cheating.

Its not cheating, Microsoft considers the adapter legal, Cheating is when you have an unfair advantage using options available exclusively to you and you alone. Anyone can play with a keyboard and mouse if they so please, they prefer to play with a controller and I prefer to play with a keyboard and mouse, Ive never touched a controller before a day in my life. Are people who play racing games with a steering wheel and pedals cheating if they are playing against someone who is using a controller? no.

First person shooters were created to play with a keyboard and mouse, PERIOD. Consoles are the ones who copied the idea, I shouldnt have to dumb myself down to something as STUPID as a controller when ive aquired gunskill with a KB&M over years of practice.

I should also add that just because someone is using a mouse and keyboard doesnt mean that it automatically makes them good. I've played with other people who also use the adapter who are complete trash.

What's the point in getting all the high stats if you are fencing and you use your legs and left gauntlet for parrying while your opponents stick to the norm?

Fps to me were all about perfecting my skills and competitive (tournament) teamplay with its strict rules and guidelines to balance the sides and unfair weapons, which is outclassed when your moveset/abilities are uncomparable to your opponents.

Both I and you guys are correct in our points, The reason I bought an xbox with the adapter is bc I wanted to get back into gaming a year ago but didnt have the money for a gaming pc which is what im used to, PC gaming. I found a much cheapter alternative, buying a used xbox and a mouse and keyboard adapter, a $160 investment altogether. They quit making the adapter to start development for the new one for the xbox one and so the adapter that I had was selling on ebay for 5 times what I paid for it so I saw it as an opporitunity for a new gaming build so thats what I did, and no matter what you are using, anything over a 3.0 requires SKILL.

I don't deny that you have some skill. But it is not measureable, not by posting high scores from pub games, or especially after telling us that your optimisation is different from your opponents.

It might be very likely that you are ahead because of this, while there is a possibility that it is a handicap.

I never played CoD or liked the mechanics other than CoD I and II, I preferred CS and BF series. From what I can tell if this thread was anyhow about posting ones stats and ratings, it kills any comparison I could have made regarding your play and your opponents.

I have also tried playing with the controller in fps.

All I play is cs 1.6, this is the first modern warfare series game ive ever played and it only took me a couple of weeks to master it. The only reason I havent posted any PC gameplay is bc I havent been able to play any games do to using a lcd tv with a shitty response time and crappy refresh rate. It doesnt matter if its on a console or a PC the results are always the same, You are either good or you arent. Im a pubstomper and always have been I usually have an even better KD on a PC when im playing in pubs on cs. Why do you think I was able to hop on a game ive never played before and automatically do so well?

There is a big difference.

If you had a notorious 4.5+ kdr on unmoded pub games in CS then you would be a decent player if you played on EU servers, this means you would be able to play on some ESL ladders and win some of the games or be competitive.

If you wanted to post some gameplay footage, then you did. But it has little to do with your mastery and stats. Which I don't deny, reading the information you provide, it's just that it doesn't matter in itself and certainly I cannot appreciate it from the content you shared.

You can also put the clips in the spoiler to reduce the size and load time of the thread for some users.

Favourite CS map?

Someone who is good with a mouse and keyboard does have a huge advantage over someone who is using a controller, and it does get very boring winning over and over again without hardly any effort at all. This is why I sold my xbox and the adapter for a new gaming build, I created this post for others to share stats and footage, When I get a gaming monitor and am able to play fps games I will post PC footage but for now this is all I have. I dont understand what all of this arguing is about? I guess its in an INTP's nature to debate.

I could have ignored it in the first place, but that's the nature of a forum that you receive a response and not a standard pat on the back or symmetric answer.

It is very far from any serious argument, I just wanted to see a point in this.

Two of my most disliked ones ;).
D2-the most popular and overplayed one and aztec - one of the most imbalanced (terrorist handicap) official maps.

I personally liked Prodigy and Westwood.

Prodigy was cool, I completely forgot about that once you mentioned it. When I sold my xbox I sold the 3500dpi razr mouse with it so im also stuck with a effing 400 dpi mouse right now, combination of that plus this crappy lcd tv gaming is just impossible even though i got my new gaming rig :( I will try to post new gameplay when i get a new benQ monitor and a new razr mouse.

I stopped playing after spending no less than 2600 hours on CS/CS Czero, what made me stop was switching machines and gear.

I couldn't get used to a different screen, mouse responsiveness, mousepad, seat, etc. Another thing was that my clan fell apart and there was some drama/bitterness involved.

Nowadays I am happy to play only games from the selected "masterpiece/lifetime" list, other than that, every game is lacking in many aspects, depth/plot/mechanics.

Lets 1v1 on an aim map, it will be a fun friendly match. I want to see how I do since I havent played cs in ages, especially with a 400 dpi mouse :p

No chances on that one, as mentioned I have a 16:9 screen resolution which in no way supports square resolutions of CS (4:3), which means I would have to play (800x600 on a 17' laptop), with all the mentioned different gear.

We are from two different parts of the world and I have 200 ping from EU to USA, where 80 ping+ is getting disastrous.

Also as I have mentioned I have given up this kind of gaming, no desire. We could play some turn based/real time strategy games if you really wanted (Go/heroes III/ AoE II)

Oh I thought you lived in the U.S, and if it makes you feel any better Im using an LCD tv with horrible input lag, shitty response time, and horrible refresh rate for a monitor temporarily until an can get a BENQ monitor, and im also using a 400 dpi mouse, I sold my gaming gear as a package on ebay to fund my new gaming rig, but now I cant game on it bc of my sub par peripheral equipment :( but I can always get it later, im just happy to have a gaming rig for now.

So I remember you guys flaming me for posting xbox stats when I was using a mouse and keyboard to gain those stats against people who were using controllers.

Wait, so you are playing this game with a mouse/keyboard against people using a controller?

What's the point in getting all the high stats if you are fencing and you use your legs and left gauntlet for parrying while your opponents stick to the norm?

Fps to me were all about perfecting my skills and competitive (tournament) teamplay with its strict rules and guidelines to balance the sides and unfair weapons, which is outclassed when your moveset/abilities are uncomparable to your opponents.

Well maybe it was and maybe it wasnt, im not really so sure. I finally got my new gaming peripherals for my gaming pc (new mouse and monitor), I ended up going with the roccat 8200 dpi mouse which was only $39 and its the nicest mouse ive ever used in my life. Anyway, I bought black ops 2 for the pc to see if it really made any kind of a difference to play against other people who are using the same equipment, which should hypothetically make it an even and fair playing ground. It seems as though my stats have actually gone even higher on PC which doesnt surprise me at all really bc im more of a PC gamer than Xbox gamer, the mouse and keyboard adapter for xbox didnt feel 100% pc like but was still better than using a controller.

Another good one I just added (30-0 on hijacked. Stealth chopper, Lodestar and Vtol warship killstreaks). Once again, this is all PC gameplay, an even and fair playing ground. Im not doing anything unfair.

I watched one of the gameplays. Your skill is very high, relative to your opponents, it is probably good, but why don't you find some more difficult rivals? Assuming there are. It would be a chance to progress and improve.

The only place I know where to find people is by joining lobbies that are full of people and playing in a match with those people. Its extremely rare to join a lobby and play against someone who actually gives me a nice challenge, and I mean really really rare.

In the rare case that I ever do run into someone on my level it usually doesnt go well, I try to be friendly but they just seem to have a really bad attitude because they are used to being able to join a lobby and pubstomp it I guess, and they dont like second guessing themselves. For me its the opposite, I welcome the challenge and would like to make acquaintances with someone of equal or higher skill level.

On xbox whenever I ran into someone good and played a match with them they would end up leaving and joining a different lobby bc they didnt feel like trying too hard. On xbox though you can actually track down the people you've played with recently and join matches that they are in, so thats what I used to do on xbox which drove them crazy. Im not really sure if thats possible to do on steam or how I would go about doing that.
