Not sure how to answer it.

overall, I see others as human as me, so I try to view them accordingly on that basis.

There are some people I like more than others, and some people I find more interesting than others, and some people I like to spend time with and others I would not.

I prefer, and same goes for other INTP's from what I hear, to be on the edge of things. The edge of the crowd. Everybody doing their thing, me being a part of it, watching and enjoying the camaraderie, but not having to participate directly. I like living on the edge of town, and like being on the periphery of social groups. At meetings I always sit in the corner or along the wall, and the have done so since college.

This isn't conscious but just how I like it.

I don't tend to miss people, even the people I like the most. I'll happily not see anyone for a month or x amount of time and then get along with them really well next time we meet.
This is the way it goes for the people I'd call best friends, we don't even talk via phone or online when we're away too.

I don't think I will vote. None of the answers satisfy me. At some moments I would pick they can all go die. But mostly I think they are barely tolerable. People disappoint me. I disappoint me. I am no better than anyone else. Let alone likable.
I like people only when they show me a good insight into something or have a really good rap. I respond well to intelligent people. I just have no patience anymore.

I love people

They often do things to piss me off, but that anger comes from my desire to see what's best happen for them. Which also benefits me, cuz I'm people too.

People are so interesting, with their own little thoughts, and perspectives. They all have something special to share. I don't always care what some individuals have to say, but the potential is still there.

I come from a very human-centric world view, so that shapes my experience. I always wanted to help people. If I wasn't trying to save their soul, I was holding doors for strangers.

I'm not all cuddles, though. There are, and have been, people I just fucking hate. People that ruin any future utopia. We are so capable of amazing things, but we also do the most horrible things. I'm still young enough to be an idealist

Seems Peoplesuck has done a lot to announce how much he dislikes people. Perhaps this thread is another extension of that announcement. Rest assured, this is my attempt at sense of humor and not an attempt at an argument.

I think nothing for people as I prefer to see them as individuals. For an individual I can have respect or pity. I have little feelings in the realm of hate or desire.

There are a few people I really like, though only one I wish to spend a lot of time with. Beyond her, I'm satisfied with a casual encounter every month or two (if we're talking in-person, obviously on this forum things are different).

On the whole, I adore and abhor humanity. Amazing creatures with so much potential for both good and evil. And so much potential for complete and utter oblivion and failure to thrive. I want to help the tide of humanity but would prefer not be part of it.

Very, very uncomfortable in crowds. Parties are NOT my thing, though I have enjoyed a few of them. I selected indifferent because there was no better answer but, as you can see, I'm anything but indifferent. I'm a benevolent introverted narcissist with a certain penchant for humanity.

Perhaps he views us as an extension of himself do to our common traits. Considering me an extension is a mistake for sure. He might find himself poking his own eye out.

Seriously though they're okay. There are scumbags and there are good people. You just have to spend some time figuring out who's who.

I feel torn between 'they can all die' and 'love them'.

But mostly I feel a different burden. The burden of my indecision what to pick, which is based onmy deep personal beliefs not to side, not to choose. There is great strength in just going for one side. And stick with it, die for it. It makes life easier.

I have chosen another road of true neutrality insofar I can pinpoint the exact centre. And there are shifts to left and right, to black or white.

It is balancing on a pinhead.

I love people, I wish them well but they are so...dumb sometimes. If I could kill them all I would, but then resurrect them all out of love. I would freeze them on the verge of annihilation.
There is so much death in people.

And so much love. I cannot choose, decide.

Generally, I am only as content with other people as I am with myself...

Which, for me, is not a constant. My degree of personal contentment is definitely prone to fluctuate on a daily basis. Occasionally, abnormally high contact rates with incomparable people can bring me down, but more often it isn't individuals, but rather situations/systems/socio-cultural conformities created by/involving large groups of them, that bring me down. My own selfishness and faulty reasoning/incorrect assumptions about same is also frequently to blame.

When I'm down, I look to my inner circle of positive associates; my 'go-to' people, to bring me up again. (Caffeine and nicotine are also helpful ).

Hence, cannot vote in poll, as no such clear-cut distinctions exist for me.

Individuals I like. An individual has interesting quirks. He or she can be kind, weird, and lovely. Generally an individual can be reasoned with on some level. People as a mass are boring, homogenous, and often tend towards brutality and mass hysteria.

I think people are interesting, but I don't want to hang around them all the time. There are some moments when I really wish that every other person in the world would just stop existing for a while, but generally I'm okay with being around other people if not interacting with them. Unfortunately some people just make thier existence so intrusive that I really can't stand to be around them.
