This is completely and entirely pointless, and reeks of a scam.

Why's it pointless? It gives him a thrill. It's easy for each individual but for him the payoff is potentially huge emotionally (ego-feeding). Why not?

No it is legit, I checked it out. This guy is 15 and most likely this is his very last Christmas. I think he asked for LIKEs because it would not cost anyone anything...

I feel bad for the guy... But I don't have a facebook account, and I've always had a negative association with 'likes'.

I don't get why he asked for "likes." If I was 15, I would have asked for sex; nonetheless, hopefully his intention was to bring awareness to his affliction and not just as an ego-booster. In that case, I see no problem in participating, though, like DT, I do sort of despise "likes" for some reason.

LIKES are inadequate as a form of feedback. It is sad to think that some in this modern world measure success by the number of LIKES they receive. However, LIKES are feedback and feedback is one way of knowing that one exists.

The world of Man needs our INTPian Smilies/emoticons, to replace LIKE...
