If you are/were a philosophy major in college, what is/was your experience? If not, did you ever consider philosophy at some point?

Where I live, there is no such thing as major/minor. I study Philosophy but take as many classes geared toward formal logic as possible. I also considered Architecture and, to a lesser extent, Physics and Psychology.

NTs tend to appreciate philosophy and non-NTs tend not to appreciate it.

Lucky you. The rest of the degrees actually lead to somewhere, which is even worse than nowhere because you have to be someone and do something when you're somewhere. When you're nowhere you can be no one and do nothing. Which means you can be anyone or anything. Technically nowhere is anywhere, but somewhere can't be anywhere because it's there. Thank God you made all the right choices!

This question begs me to wash the dishes.

That's so clever baron-sama!

I have a graduate degree in philosophy and I teach courses in the philosophy department at a large university. I don't know quite how to answer the "what as your experience in college" kind of question other than with, "it was my experience."

I will be considering taking Philosophy courses in the future if I ever decide to take up Law (they are part of the requirements). For now, I have to take care of my Master's degree first.

I was a philosophy major. It happened by accident. I just kept going to the only classes I wasn't bored in. Toward the end of the degree all my work was centered around logic (vs. say, the ethics people) and led me to understand the overlooked connections between philosophy and computer science.

It was difficult to find well paying work after graduating but I taught myself to write in JavaScript and C and started work on a second bachelor's in computer science...which saved my ass because now I am employable in a way that is quantifiable (before it was just like "hey I'm not totally stupid and can write things!"). My ultimate goal is to do a master's degree that combines philosophy and CS.

Like many things it depends on what you do with it, how you approach it... I have a feeling that in the coming years logicians are going to become valuable sources in the computing world and philosophy degrees with concentrations in formal logic might not be so useless after all...
