It would work much better if you ask me questions and we can come to new conclusions.

Extroverts vs. Introverts
Introverts focus on their reality.
Extroverts focus on reality.

Thoughts vs. Feelings
What's the difference between a feeling and a thought? I dunno.
Do you think a feeling?
Do you feel a thought?

Feelers seem 'retarded' to thinkers.
Thinkers seem 'retarded' to feelers.

Feelings — That thing thinkers try ignore.
Thoughts — That thing feelers try ignore.

Intuition vs. Senses

Intuition — Kinetic flow of your thoughts/feelings?

Example: You create a thought and it has it's own momentum. It moves through space and there is no law of gravity in space, so the thought either keeps flowing until it is attracted to another 'thoughts' gravity. The thought crashes into that idea or the idea is carried by that thoughts gravitational pull and further out into space. Or a thought is repelled by a opposing thought.

For feelings switch out thoughts with feeling.

Senses — Human beings have a multitude of senses. In addition to the traditionally recognized five senses of sight (ophthalmoception), hearing (audioception), taste (gustaoception), smell (olfacoception or olfacception), and touch (tactioception), other senses include temperature (thermoception), kinesthetic sense (proprioception), pain (nociception), balance (equilibrioception) and acceleration (kinesthesioception). What constitutes a sense is a matter of some debate, leading to difficulties in defining what exactly a sense is. -Wikipedia <3

Judgement vs Perception

Judgement — Facts. Proof. Evidence.
Perception — ?

Judgers — Out.
Perceivers — In.

Outer characteristics:
(Your mind is reflected through your body or something.)
Ns — Bright eyes
Ss — 'Dull' eyes

Examples:

INTP — Me?
INFP — Allison Harvard
ISTP — Ryan Gosling

General idea of a type:
Every personality type is a 'God.'

INTPs — Rational 'Gods' INTPs believe in ideas.
INFPs — Emotional 'Gods' INFPs believe in feelings.

ISTPs — Worldy? 'Gods' ISTPs believe in their logical reality/world.
ISFPs — ISFPs believe in their feeling reality/world.

INTJs — Logic 'Gods' INTJs believe in their logic.
INFJs — Feeling 'Gods' INFJs believe in their feelings.

Bonus questions:

How do you drive?

Do you let people pass you?

Is it a race?

How my Dad drives — I HAVE TO BE THERE FIRST. I'M GOING TO INCH AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO EVERY CAR. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK. I'M GOING TO GO THROUGH THAT FUCKING YELLOW LIGHT.

How my Mom drives — Like a bitch.

Re: Personality Types

Personality is constantly changing though. I think it looks like a code or genetic script?

INTPINFPENTJESTPISTJ

You cycle through different persona's in different situations, but at rest you have one of these personalities:
INTP ISTP ENTP ESTP

INFP ISFP ENFP ESFP

INTJ ISTJ ENTJ ESTJ

INFJ ISFJ ENFJ ESFJ

Or something.

Mutations are new ideas.
Mutations alter our physical appearances.

Re: Personality Types

What is an idea?

It's a balance between a thought/feeling.

Ideas are feelings and/or thoughts.

Do I win, yet? ;]
(Maybe.)

Re: Personality Types

AB-BA/ab-ba
Duality of cognitive functions/personality/everything

Unconfident ENTJ — INTP? Te-Ni/Se-Fi — Ni-Te/Fi-Se
Confident INTP — ENTJ? Ni-Te/Fi-Se — Te-Ni/Se-Fi

Extroversion/Introversion get swapped. (I think)

Shadow functions for INTP Fi-Se since these are the things we tend to ignore — the real world and our feelings.

Regular INTP Ni-Te/Fi-Se
Shadow INTP Fi-Se/Ni-Te = ISFJ [Not sure about this one at all though.]

Prime functions swapped with shadow functions.

How to develop yourself: Develop your shadow functions and theoretically you should be able to switch between these two personalities easily.
Develop your extroverted functions and you can switch between those two personalities easily.

Congratulations, you now have multiple personality disorder.

Maybe.

You have a preference for one of these personalities and you probably don't even know it.

I think I act like an ENTJ in person now.

Maybe.

I'm much better at being an INTP, though.

Cognitive functions: (Closed functions can't be paired together/ Open functions can't be paired together.)
Ti-Te
Fi-Fe
Ni-Ne
Si-Se
Intuition, perception, senses — open functions
Thoughts, feelings, judgements — closed functions

[Is perception a cognitive function? ]

Ni-Te/Fi-Se — INTP
Ni First function determines introverted or extroverted P or J
Te Second function determines introverted or extroverted T or F
/
Shadow dual functions
Fi First function determines introverted or extroverted T or F this time.
Se Second function determines introverted or extroverted P or J.

(Vice-versa for every personality type?)

[That is if we only have 4 cognitive functions.]

I could be completely wrong, though. :D

Re: Personality Types

Okay, so since everything occurs in dualities.
Dual functions, personalities, etc.
2x2=4x4=16x16=256x256=65536x65536
2x2=4 4x2=8 8x2=16 16x2=32 32x2=64 64x2=128 128x2=256 256x2=512 512x2=1024
Logic to personalities? Logic is chaotic though. Asymptotes/infinity/Chaos theory/etc
Apply logic to feelings even more chaos.

Chaos/Control

Loops/Loops

Fruit-Loops/Attempt at bad duality joke with something else-loops

Men/Women

Girls/Boys

Dogs/Cats

This still doesn't mean you will be able to talk/communicate with everyone, just saying. Not bragging. ;]
And why would you want to?

You are a universe. How? Big bang — That's how you were created, motherfucker.
You're made up of dead stars. You're made up of past/current/future existences/universes of each other.

It's just very chaotic, okay?

Just be glad that we experience time linearly. :]

Re: Personality Types

I think INTPs/ENTPs repel each other mentally, but opposites attract. Paradoxical? Yes.
Opposite functions - attraction
INTP/ESFJ
Opposite direction in functions and feelings.
Only attracted through reality?

But since we're all the same 'type'(human) we naturally attract each other.

Opposite I/E are mirror images of each other. They have the most potential working together, but they are also the most dangerous to each other. (Just my theory.)

Sleep:

During sleep you enter your subconscious reality. Your shadow functions.
Dreams bring up issues that you've been feeling/thinking about subconsciously.

When you die in dreams, you actually die. However, death is painless. And when you die, you come back to this reality.

When you wake up, sometimes you feel lost. That's because you were reborn, but you have memories. When you're in this state, you should think about what's really important to you and how you could improve.

Before I fall asleep, I get lost in my feelings.

Think of it like this: Each cognitive function is a CPU processor.
You have 16 processors in your brain but you only have access to two at a time. You have the ability to underclock and overclock each of these CPUs.

There's a saying that goes like this: You only use 10% of your brain power.

And that's only true if you allow it to be.

It's just difficult to 'unlock' these hidden processors.

I like this thread for the reason that there are some good thought trains that could be useful for typology. My only issue is that they're grounded in MBTI.

To point a couple out, seeing functions as processors, and type cycling.

Well, maybe you have something to edit?

Disclaimer: This thread is based on MBTI.

Edit: My theory is now defined as Mellow's Personality Types.
Edit2: You owe me about $1 billion with a fixed rate interest if you ever use my theory.
Edit3: Have fun paying me off.

Edit4: To unlock these hidden processors check your motherboard settings. I think it's step threading or something? I don't remember.
It's more likely to have hidden processors on AMD cpus.

Think of it like this: You can root/jailbreak your phone. By doing so you gain access to the phones OS and you are able to completely customize your phone's software.

You can jailbreak your brain, but you have to kill all the demons on your own or you can always get someones help.

I absolutely love this way of thinking. Whole thread, even if it was multiple ways of thinking. I've always been searching for that verb which describes what I need to do to my brain, and 'jailbreak' is just perfect.

"Today? Oh, I'm just jailbreaking my brain. I'll be back soon."

Been "jailbreaking" my brain for a while now: eg got a job as a waiter to become more extroverted, which has revolutionised my personality. My least developed function is Te; so I'm going to work and travel in Australia on my own for a year to kick-start it. Still feel most comfortable in my INTP role, but am now so much more flexible with my behaviour.

Cognitive functions are like muscles; exercising them makes your personality fitter and more flexible.

What a cool thread!! I have thought of most of this before, but your INTPness shines completely through with the way you posted everything... I must say, developing different functions may be one of the most useful things someone can do so that he can operate more efficiently in different situations and look at problems from different perspectives (even science problems)...
