Do you find that Fraudian worldview does not work for you because you failed to get on with either of your parents? XSTJ & IXFP so me. Engineer and a non-thinking Puff the Magic Dragon as near as dammit.
Children of the Damned

For that matter I could not get on with almost all the school teachers either?

Lately, I do not seem to be able to get on with any families or members of families at all!

Do the Fraudian complexes remind you of the Hitler regime and only suitable for Horsemen (ESFJ) ? Perhaps for Wolves (ENFJ) who bit off Grannies (INTP) head!

I get what you're trying to say using your animal metaphors, but seriously you need to just give that up. No one else in here wants to use that language, and it's getting you no where. You said you can't "get on" with anyone (including your family and others), well maybe you'd get on with people if you spoke their language instead of your own!

In the final analysis, what joy is there in being a functional member of society if you must give up your individuality? Society helps us attend to many of our needs, but if it refuses your ability to take care of all of them, then it behooves you to avoid making that sacrifice.

I will probably not debate the animal interpretation of psychology because it doesn't interest me, but I support Perseus' right to discuss it.

Flow, look at the "dragon's lair", it is entirely devoted to perseus's posts. Sometimes I think that Perseus's sole purpose on this forum is to piss off Jesin. At least this how things appear to be. I recently read an elaborate theoriy explaining P.'s behavior but I still am inclined to believe my own theory. But then again, P. was here before I showed up on the scene so perhaps there is more going on then I know. As for you P., please quit with the animal types, it's annoying.

Yes I agree Perseus has the right to say anything he wishes, however this isn't about rights in my opinion. The fact of the matter is that he is complaining about not getting along with people. It's also his right to not get along with people, but it's not in his best interest and if his latest topic is genuine, I'm doing him a grave disservice by not pointing this out. I realize I was being somewhat confrontational (My apologies Auborn), but I felt like it needed to be said. I'm interested to see if we can ever get this person to speak without the bs..

I've taken my share of shots at Perseus, but I've decided that I like him. I'm beginning to understand him a little better, in a strange way. He is an outcast, even here among outcasts. I like outcasts. I am one.

He mentioned Schizotypal Personality Disorder in one of his posts. I don't know if he has this or not, but if he does, he may not be able to help the way he communicates. Look at these symptoms of the disorder, than read his posts with that in mind. I'm far from an expert, and maybe someone will blow me out of the water on this, but he seems to fit the profile, at least in those limited perceptions we have of him.

People with schizotypal personality disorder display a combination of odd behavior, speech patterns, thoughts, and perceptions. Other people often describe these individuals as strange or eccentric. Additional traits of people with this disorder include the following:
  • Dressing, speaking, or acting in an odd or peculiar way
  • Being suspicious and paranoid
  • Being uncomfortable or anxious in social situations because of their distrust of others
  • Having few friends and being extremely uncomfortable with intimacy
  • Tending to misinterpret reality or to have distorted perceptions (for example, mistaking noises for voices)
  • Having odd beliefs or magical thinking (for example, being overly superstitious or thinking of themselves as psychic)
  • Being preoccupied with fantasy and daydreaming
  • Tending to be stiff and awkward when relating to others
  • Coming across as emotionally distant, aloof, or cold
But on the other hand, I see this link that he provided about himself and see what appears to be a normal, fully functioning individual!

I really don't know what to think.

(Hopefully he won't call me a stalker because of this )

NoID10ts, you have blown my mind with your post. I never used to take much notice of Perseus, really, to be honest, because I couldn't understand a word he was talking about and I thought he was weird. But simply by being open minded, curious, warm and accepting, you have seen something that I have completely missed. What wonderful pictures. I feel like I would really like to meet Perseus now - that is, assuming those pictures are genuine!

This is a true story.

When the Police did the investigation into the local drug smuggling of hashish form Holland into England (the Artisan twats did not know they were being followed around looking to bust the mules or fool guy who housed the drop) it was interesting to note that the English undercover cops were still using the old Millon psychiatric designations of schizotypal (although the term used is eccentric), but the Dutch were using the personality types and I was actually pegged as an INTJ, which they call the Scientist. The scientist by role is detached (=existential position of schizoid or shy like) and he just provides the information for the politicians to make a pig's ear of.

I wish I was a scientist INTJ. I would be more mainstream.

Fraudian is a comglomerate name of Fraud + Guardian (SJ). They have a vested interest in supporting the Freudian wordlview which probably works OK in the family environment, and even in today's society with family break-up. In their world, the non-conformers are often called bastards as they do not respect (automaticaly) the head of the fmaily/firm, the father figure.

In order to support their families the Guardians are often willing to commit fraud and lie their way up the SJ ladder. INTPs, even the regresses to INTJ Pet Shop Boys do not lick arses.

They get used after awhile and it is very common locally. It is only the Horsemen (ESFJ) and they throw their cigarette butts in the gutter instead of the bin.
Being suspicious and paranoid
They get caught out in their lies and are making excuses
Being uncomfortable or anxious in social situations because of their distrust of others
I know you want to punch my lights out, by just looking at the silver cross around your wife's neck
Having few friends and being extremely uncomfortable with intimacy
Not wanting to do the Pet Shop Rounds and fucking the pony girls
Tending to misinterpret reality or to have distorted perceptions (for example, mistaking noises for voices)
Touch wood, we all hear voices when lonely
Having odd beliefs or magical thinking (for example, being overly superstitious or thinking of themselves as psychic)
Very awkward for us/me to trust my emotions
Being preoccupied with fantasy and daydreaming
Thinking about the future
Tending to be stiff and awkward when relating to others
This is the asexual, non-dancers, I think
Coming across as emotionally distant, aloof, or cold
Einstein came across as warm and friendly, but I think Newton was like this.
