Can someone help by asking me questions to determine? I am confused by the drastic change of both of the tests.

First of all, forget the tests. The free ones you can find online suck.
Now then, do a little research about the different types, and try to pay more attention to the functions they use (Ti or Te, Si or Se, etc) than the letters in the name. If you can nail down one or two of your functions, then the rest is a process of elimination.

Check that Ti.
Check that Ne.
Check that Si.
Fuck Fe, because that shit is just confusing.
If you have spent a good long time on this then it's most likely you are an INTP or INFJ.
You can eliminate FJ by too much Ti.
You can eliminate J by just being indecisive.
However, eliminating Se can be pretty tough.
I mean, you have to be goddamn boring and meticulous.
You have to spend all your time just smiling to yourself over patterns.
Like oh ha. Because is Be Cause. And then you smile. Then fiddle with the thought of imply and reply.
All in all, if you think about doing a lotta shit then you just don't do it. You are human.

If your dominant function is introverted thinking (Ti) then you are an MBTI INTP and a Socionics INTj, that both have the Ti as the most dominant function. If your most dominant function is introverted INtuition (Ni, a dreamer, a non-thinker), then it's the opposite. And if you have extraverted thinking (Te) or extraverted iNtuition (Ne; visual memory) as the most dominant, then you are an Extravert. What makes one an Extravert or an Introvert comes from the most dominant function's direction.
