Nootropics with profound effects?

I'm just sitting here wondering when nootropics that have profound effects on the brain will be introduced to the market. What do you think, 15 or 20 years?

I think it might be too early to tell, however I've known people who've had very positive effects from a controlled regiment of taking piracetam and aniracetam. I couldn't tell you the long term effects after 15-20 years. Although after a year, I've heard of people experiencing enhanced mental clarity and improved performance on classwork. These people did not take them everyday though. I'm currently taking Adrafinil in moderation and noticing subtle effects.
