I find they have a specific style of talking, so I can understand where you are coming from. I find it somewhat pleasant though

There's a guy at my work that uses that kind of voice, and every time I hear him over the intercom, I want to strangle him.

I call it the creepy serial killer voice. It sounds so unnatural and full of fake.
