Hi there. I'm new to this forum and just starting to figure it out. There isn't an introduction board you're supposed to post to first, right? Is it courtesy on here to do an introduction post or just jump in on a thread?

There is an intro board, but you don't necessarily need to post an intro. Most people here tend to value contribution more than anything, so ultimately you'll most likely be judged by your overall post content than whether or not you made an intro thread.

That said, I think a lot of people here do appreciate intro threads because it can be a good way to get a feel for new people and their interests/intros can be used to spark up conversation which ultimately means more content.
