All y'all saying that you got a score over 100 are lyin'. Erryone knows that 100 is the highest score you can get. I got an 87 and I'm proud of it. Y'all should be proud of your real scores too!

1) test rates you low

2) self-esteem is lowered

3) purchasing full report for $2 will give you a little bit of upside "you did really good on this section but your math is holding you back"

4) buy the $40 app to increase your now deflated IQ back up to where it should be

5) app gives you specialised knowledge so that you can better address specific question on test, so you feel as if you've gained something. The generalisability of such improvements is low however, and little benefit will be gained in the areas that IQ is designed to predict success in.

Fun test though :)

Yep, i mean, this test is much like the test i took 20 years ago in 4th grade,
but it's only part A out of J.
So how can this test claim superiority if it's outdated and omits a lot of the questions that measure the ability to answer tests designed to measure "intelligence"?

i could only be bothered to answer the first question and scored 60

my time-saving IQ is off the chart though

My current location is classified.
At first I didn't know it was timed, so I went and did other things, then came back to the test with a very low score. I took it again to get 120. Which is still inaccurate, because at that point I knew the answers to some questions from before.

I got an IQ below my Mensa tested IQ. The clock questions made no sense, so I expect those messed me up. False claims were made about IQ at the end of the test (your IQ does NOT change with age, and brain exercises will not help). So, I expect the test is crap.

what makes you think a person's IQ would be entirely static? well, i understand there have been ambitions to capture GI as an essential measurement of talent in each specimen. but no such ambition has been successful. it's a fact that practice enhances skill and that IQ style pattern spotting is a skill. IQ as it is operationalized doesn't have full heritability.

claiming to know your own IQ while stressing the hypothetical ambition of the GI concept in order to criticize others' understanding is an act of equivocation. the IQ that doesn't change in a person is not an IQ anyone ever managed to measure, certainly not your recorded IQ and also not what people generally mean by IQ.

if you intend only to highlight the exploitative and deceptive marketing on that test site, then i agree. trivially.

I liked 20, 21, 24, 28, 29 and the rotating box.
The clock thing was weird.

I got 122. I think I understood the clock questions, although at first I thought it was a trick question (or at least poorly worded) given that if you flipped the whole clock upside-down it'd still be the same time.

Does anyone know the answers to 24, 26, 27, and 29? Those were the boxed numbers questions and the numbers list questions. The pattern was not apparent to me. I'm fairly confident I got everything else right.

My 2 cents...

24: if you put all the numebers in one box, you'll see how they count down from right to left. So my answer was 3, because 7-6-5-4-3.

26: i considered several options. But occam's razor told me:
3-9-1-3-3-9-9-1-1... So my answer would be 9.

27: 0, -8, 16, 12, -12, -14, 7, 0 ... So my answer would be 7, because of the beautiful symmetry. Sequences don't have to be unending.

29: 45 would be my answer -- sum of all numbers in the bottom square -3.

Yes I agree - 26 was annoyingly unfulfilling.

Ahem, the clock questions - Basically you were supposed to rotate the clock upside down and then imagine the clock dial/face being correct? I assume i got those questions right since there was fitting choices. Poorly worded regardless, you shouldn't have to look at the answers on such a question to understand what they even meant.

114, lowest i've ever scored, quite a bit lower than mensas even which is weird. Needed a little more time (last 5 questions were basically "fuck me") and some of those number sequences/boxes was just evil...

So cheap when you don't get the correct answers at the end.

Both IQ and EQ are rude ways of understanding the abilities of human mind. It need to be developed to change the way to understand instead of using those stupid in-human tests.

IQ and EQ are depend of passion and state of mind. So it can be variants from time to time. The best way to test human ability, I think it is figuring out how we understand our external world and our life.

How could IQ/g factor etc ever be truly static? At optimal capacity maybe but can you really call it static then?

Does amphetamines/strong stimulants increase scores? I could imagine it making a big difference.

Yea I think people get that , but 6:30 didn't show 12:00 up-side-down, even though that was the rigtig answer. It shows: 12:30 on the short arm and the long arm points at 12. That's not how 12:00 reads. That hour doesn't even exist.

6.30 = both arms at 6 -> spin it upside down -> both arms now point at 12 because you left the arms where they were but turned the dial/face because reasons

maybe i'm missing something here

Considering the information that is given, the only answer should be 6:30, AKA nothing changed time-wise since you cannot read clocks upside down because our numericals doesn't work that way. 6:30 isn't even among the answers...

I like that the test is flawed though, it means i can feel smarter than i am again.

Yeah, the clock questions were screwy because of that.

I tried other ways of looking at it, but even the "false correct" answers didn't seem to be in those lists. Meh.

I look at it this way, there were multiple ways to interpret it but only 1 interpretation had the correct answer among the choices.

I don't think the creator of the test thought of the hour hand's movement relative to the minute hand's either, or just didn't care...

ALL CAPS WARNING DEFINITELY READ THIS ITS DEF WORTH IT TRUST ME IM SMART,

I am new but this is a good post despite its length so read it and I will pay u 10 dollars (just kidding but I would if we encountered in person which is about the same chance of me being the smartest guy in the world)

I wuz gonna take it but I decided not to because I was in a phase of taking iq tests all the time about 2 years ago. I have also had 3 drinks so if I got a score less than I expected, I would be up all night trying to justify this and my life would be ruined. so a lot is resting on this chance I may take. I took an iq test at age 10 and got a 128 in 5th grade administered by the school, but the only reason I would believe my iq had changed is because I smoked pot all throughout high school and a study came out in 2012 that suggested pot may lower iq.

But back to when I used to take iq tests because I had no social life: I was in college and made relationships very awkward because this was in the back of my mind. So I was like the genius with no social life, but since my IQ was < 130, I actually technically fell short of that categorization by 2 iq points. So basically, I was just a normal man with a wanna be good will hunting attitude, lucky I had a damn good sense of humor.

I did at this time 2 years ago take one at iqtest.dk and though I had an interruption halfway through, I probably would have done the same had I done it in one go, I'm like 75 percent sure of this. Anyways, I got a 133 on it, so based on its lauded reputation across the internet and the probably right hunches I tend to have in the majority of the time compared to wrong hunches based on my IQ score>120, I probably didn't lose any IQ points from smoking so much pot in high school (Whew, that was long winded, but one moral of this story is that at least I had friends in high school even if I did lose some IQ points, because I didn't have that many in college, because one thing I learned is I would rather have a stick in my ass IQ score of less than 115 but more than 100 but be the guy who had a lot of friends even in his thirties and forties than be a guy with an IQ of between 120 and 145 who had no friends, but of course if I had an IQ higher than 160, I could have a micropenis and no friends and still be in a better mood than the average man when I sat down and thought about life.

ANYWAYS I HOPE YOU READ THIS POST because it had a lot of cool information in it and my intelligence is probably above the average poster here so it was definitely worth reading. Your welcome.

Dout it.
Judging by that sentance alone, you don't seem too smart, because if you were and you really thought about life, you'd get very depressed.
Just stick with a long dick, ~110 IQ and friends, my advice.

Oh, and you seem goofy in a weird unnatural way, like if you were forcing it; are you the notorious XII everyone speaks nauseously about?

Did it again and got the report which was totally lame. It doesn't tell you the correct answers iirc.

Anyways, I didn't get a single question right after 22. 27 was the only question I actually tried to figure out with paper and pen, which I didn't answer cuz I thought the answer was 10 *shrug*

I also got 97 and sense QuickTwist has said in the past his is 115 and my spearman g is 115 the average score of the people taking this test must be 117 ~ 100. and also if the age of the people is not factored in but is aggregate all ages if the average age is (a) if you score 100 and are older the test does not say you are dumber than your average age nor if you score 100 and you are younger does it tell you you are smarter than your age. if QuickTwist scored 97 ~ 115 and he is 28 years old (Animekitty is 27) the average age of people taking the test would play in.

we need a math person to calculate this :borg:

If I did the math correctly, the best possible IQ score you can get on this test is 137. That means ma(dy)ma(dx) got a perfect score! Congrats, you can now go to any college you want!
