New girl.

Hi, I've been lurking in this community for the last couple weeks or so, and am now feeling compelled to register, introduce myself, and hopefully stop lurking and engage in some conversation. I'm not very good at introductions and usually try to get through them as quickly as possible.

So, 28 years old. New mom of a 4 month old. Married. Moved to the States from eastern Europe at 12. I'm convinced that being the new foreign girl in a sea of midwestern middle school kids scarred me for life.....Now I'm in a sea of midwestern corporate employees, and, well, not much has changed since middle school. Still on the outside, looking in.

My current challenges include my career, which has completely derailed recently, and lack of sleep.
