I was reading some threads when I encountered terms (or should I say abbreviations) like Fe, Ti etc. I don't have in-depth knowledge about MBTI and Typology but I assume these terms relate to them somehow.

Can anyone shed a light on this, or point me to some material that explains them.

I am quite curious.

Fe means "extroverted feeling" and it is either the strongest or second strongest function of the FJ types, in MBTI.

Google "MBTI cognitive functions" and there should be good links explaining it.

In case you're interested in reading a fair amount of input from me on the relationship between the dichotomies and the functions, the place of the functions (or lack thereof) in the MBTI's history, and the tremendous gap between the dichotomies and the functions in terms of scientific respectability, you'll find a lot of potentially eye-opening discussion in this post and this post.
