I kind of wish I was Elektra from Daredevil. Is that weird? Hah I think I have watched that movie 100 times...

I love any movie with martial arts and good vs evil. I remember when I was a little girl I used to think I was Sonya from Mortal Combat. Hahaha did I really just admit that?! Yeppp.. :P

What's your favorite ninja movie?

I loved how in 'The Matrix' one could learn any martial art. I would teach myself Kung-Fu with that method.

But in actuality I want a parallel universe for myself if there is someone who can fulfill wishes and is reading this post by chance.

Some of my favorite martial arts films are Jackie Chan's old Hong Kong movies. Those were fantastic. Low budget? Yes. However, he did some really amazing stuff when he was younger that makes his American higher budget stuff look like crap. Also, the corny humor is quality.

They are ridiculously hard to hunt down though.

I could write an essay on how this is the most amazing, stunningly gorgeous movie ever. My reasons all seem to be quite personal, though, so I'll let it be. Be forewarned, the action scenes are all pretty... dreamy. More slowly-paced than usual, and far less realistic. It's a film to watch for the cinematography.

Oh Mortal Kombat ♥ I think every
little girl felt that way :P

I don't know if any of you have
seen Goemon, but by all means
you should and I am not one that
usually finds a movie worth
recommendation.

Thank you guys for the movie suggestions, I'm gonna try to watch them this weekend! I'm excited.

I used to be a manager at a movie theater (best job EVER) and I got to watch Ninja Assassin 2 days before it debuted at the theater. I literally got paid to preview that movie!! It was pretty good but it didn't have the epic "good vs evil" thing. There has to be more than just fighting, I like substance too. :)

The Ontological Proof of Ninjas

When we talk about the ninja, we are talking about the sweetest being ever – that is, we are talking about the being that which nothing sweeter can be conceived. So, when we conceive the ninja in our mind, we conceive of the being than which nothing sweeter can be conceived. But consider this: Is it sweeter to exist only in the mind or to exist both in the mind and in reality – outside the mind. Certainly, it is much sweeter to exist also in reality – flipping out and wailing on guitars is much sweeter when someone is actually doing it. So when we conceive of the sweetest being ever, we are conceiving of the being that exists both in the mind and in reality. Since the ninja is that being which nothing sweeter can be conceived and that being exists in the mind and in reality, the ninja exists in reality. Thus, the ninja exists.
