coalescing in diffusion
My music spectrum is insanely broad. My two favorites genres are indie type stuff on one side and brutal deathcore at the other. Truthfully, I like metalcore, deathcore, hardcore, indie, experimental/ progressive rock, post-rock, progressive/experimental metalcore/ deathcore, and generally any mixture of those.
Some bands I like (with my sucky genre-categorizing):
As Cities Burn (experimental indie, post-hardcore)
I Built the Cross (Technical deathcore)
mewithoutYou (post-rock, experimental indie)
Psalters (world, tribal, experimental)
House of Heroes (experimental indie)
Destroy the Runner (technical metalcore)
Colour Revolt (indie)
The Famine (technical metalcore)
Impending Doom (Grindcore/ Deathcore)
In the Midst of Lions (technical deathcore, experimental)
Killswitch Engage (technical metalcore)
Mychildren Mybride (technical metalcore)
On Solid Ground (deathcore)
Saosin (post-hardcore)
Stray From the Path (mathcore, hardcore)
Set Your Goals (pop-punk, hardcore)
Truly, I am open to most any music, except, for sure, country and rap. I hate that stuff. If anybody would like to suggest me any bands, though, that would be fantastic. Also, before you rage at any inaccuracy that may or not be in the list above genre-wise, my categorizing is not perfect, and sometimes, sucks. It is hard to categorize bands like mewithoutYou, Psalters, and As Cities Burn. My favorite stuff is almost always innovative, progressive, and technical.
EDIT: I also like classical as well, but never have the means or motivation to look for some. I suppose the classic (is that redundant) like Beethoven and Mozart would be good starting places.
