This vid's footage is actually from the 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi. It is a brilliant example of the juxtaposition of images and music...the first of a trilogy directed by Godfrey Reggio and scored by Philip Glass (my personal favorite of which is the second film, Powaqqatsi, which is also viewable on YouTube in it's entirety).
