Science figures out what the mind is, but it turns out that it is a quantum process, so when you learn the exact details of it, the process no longer occurs and you die. Soon afterwards, militaries build an "enlightenment ray" and create a nuclear war like apocalypse. The remaining survivors denounce all science and teaching.

The next idea is only partially mine...This movie is a creature feature style movie with one twist, the protagonists are aliens from our closest star (idk its name off the top of my head [and no I don't mean The Sun you trolls]) and the creature are humans (and I don't mean like avatar. more like the movie Alien in reverse). The aliens come to our solar system to study/colonize a planet that is desolate but could sustain life (future earth). However, when they get here they encounter savage beasts (humans [possibly the descendants of the enlightnment ray lol]). I think this one could be good because humans can be pretty damn scary, like we stalk our prey and can outrun a horse if given long enough. plus we are smart and will eat almost anything. Also this should not be some kind of cannibal tribe thing, it seriously needs to be just some weak ass aliens (some kind of slug maybe?) getting slaughtered by a human.

Also the scene from jurassic park where the raptors use the door handle... that needs to be in this movie, except in reverse of course

Sweet idea for thread/movie.
A while ago I was like "so do u kno how the genes actually mutate to allow for variety for natural selection to apply to?" And my co workers like "yo holmes it be like dis, the gene makin be like toy makin facories, they mess up some times" and a movie was born in my head.
A group of scientists wants to genetically engineer genes but the population goes against it saying its not governed by natural dicine chance so they "naturally" genetically engineer a woman unbeknowst to her by like accidently walking bby and kicking her in the stomach and its a comedy the scientists are all the guys who play the ghost busters and the pregnant woman is chris farley.

I think this one could be good because humans can be pretty damn scary, like we stalk our prey and can outrun a horse if given long enough.

I like it, you could even do an alternate version of "Alien" with a stone-age human captive getting loose aboard an alien spaceship and stalking the crew. It climbs, it swims, it figures out how to move in zero gravity pretty quick, it improvises weapons with alarming ease, it makes snares, it even has the presence of mind to hide when outnumbered only to stalk them later and pick them off one by one.

I would not want to be trapped in a confined space with a pissed off hunter-gatherer.

Well, what about alternate history?
One can create a comedy where Hitler (A vegan) declares war against meat eaters.
He then engages them in a non-violent manner, triggering Food War 2.
