hello. well, i just wanted to inform you all that i have a lot of homework to do but I feel as though I have no reason to complete it. Now, before you nerdboys start calling names I just wanna say i have the utmost respect for human ingenuity. What scares me though is fanboys putting over emphasis on education. Now, it is just about as scary as ignorant people trying to say whats what (perhaps because they are ignorant about some things.)

also, please dont take offense to being called a nerd, i am just feeling silly.

and, i think i might as well say it, theres a lot of silly prestige goin on about this whole intp thingamacallit. i mean, im like a combination of INTJ,IFNJ,ENFP,INFP,slightly ENFJ,slightly ESTP, ISTJ, ESFJ, ENTP, INTP, ISTP, ENTJ, ESFP, ISFP, all combinated together.

You know, thread opener, you could just say you wouldn'T be sure of your function preferences...Since everybody has parts of every function, just ones with stronger usage and ones with less usage...

It might interest you to know that that's true about every type coming from a view of generalizations. All individuals have access to all functions, just at varying levels of conscious control.

It isn't balance to be every type... its lack of self knowledge.

believe it or not, obligatory work is actually one of the biggest 'pet peeves' of INTPs. I hate homework with a passion!!!

We tend to be huge procrastinators - and may actually be horrible students in school for it. I barely passed my physics class in senior year - or I wouldn't have graduated!

Our nerdyness comes out when engaged in subjects that interest us - in which case we may isolate ourselves for days, engrossed in a single video game/book/computer screen/etc - sometimes forgetting to eat, or sleep, or that we even possess bodies! :P

I can't stress how exactly right that statement was; somebody should replace the INTP description with exactly that. Or maybe it just fits me perfectly.

i am afraid i am an INTP most of time, but in different situations i have more traits of other personalities.

If the homework was about something that fascinated me, I never minded. The fear of failure always made me do any assignment. However, yes, I am a huge procrastinator. I often didn't complete assignments until the due date...So glad to be out of school and to be rid of that damn sword of Damocles.
