And maybe GABA as well.

Things that therefore should increase motivation:

- Beta-alanine (or L-carnosine)
- Uridine monophosphate (150 mg sublingually)
- Acetyl L-carnitine

Other things:

- PhenylPiracetam Hydrazide
- N-acetyl semax amidate + N-acetyl selank
- Modafinil/Adrafinil
- Avena sativa (neuravena; Dopa-Mind)
- Forskolin + quercetin/bromelain + EGCG + fish oil + vitamin C???

Can you elaborate more? You literally just listed a bunch of fancy words.

There's plenty of drugs that can dump dopamine into the nucleus accumberbottom, but cocaine isn't the solution to all your problems.

my experience tell me intps have already good amount of dopamine(modafinil works for me like a tea), try to increase GABA - phenibut is my best (but you can become a bit aggressive)

Why do you think INTPs have good amounts of dopamine?

Aren't we prone to depression? (As in, statistically more likely to have it, not every individual being prone to it).

I've found motivation goes up while using modafinil. I didn't attribute this to dopamine, but reduced fatigue and 'stickier' focus.

Most INTPs need more activity in the nucleus accumbens shell, as well as more GABA (probably best increase with GABA transaminase inhibitors such as gastrodin or lemon balm). Motivation is mainly handled by the nucleus accumbens shell, so increased activity (with beta-alanine, uridine monophosphate, etc) should result in noticeable effects.

Modafinil/adrafinil also didn't do much for me, but it has helped some INTPs. But again, try some of the supplements/nootropics mentioned in the OP.

Amphetamine /dextroamphetamine work wonders, too. Even the most mundane of shit seems suddenly fascinating.

Smoke meth. Dopamine for days yo.
Side effects may include taking apart computers/vehicles in the wee hours of the morning, shoot outs with bikers, and rummaging through your belongings for hours on end.

first, modafinil doesnt works for me, second all NT have good self motivation,
Second, when I compare myself to my S or F friends while playing games - they want just fun or whatever, while I want to be the best and I am.
The problem lies elsewhere. We dont like trivial things, we are NT, we want venture new, explore, achieve... So most stuff bore us

What horseshit.

Some people are able to motivate themselves; some people struggle with it. Type is completely irrelevant - as it most often is when discussing the characteristics of a person.

You obviously dont know what self motivation is. Let me tell you what it isnt:
Si people are motivated by obligation, duty. Esfj and isfj have best grades in school because it please their parents, so they learn so they parents can be proud of them and be happy, so it makes isfj and esfj happy. It is similar for xstj, they feel sense of duty that they should do something.

I dont want write about each type here, but different story is about NTs, lets make example intp.
Me and other intp dont care what other people think we should do, because we think independently and so we do only what we want to do, learn what is interesting for us, and struggle in learning by hearth what is easy for some types. Every mature-enought intp know that he learns much different than most people and standard education is only killing curiosity and motivation. But any non-NT struggle with learning something by curiosity, doing something what isnt nessesary just to try something new or aquire knowledge that can be useful in distant future. I know this from my personal observations that my friends istj, istp, isfp only do what is required from them, amd me, and my friends: entj, intj like do read a book, go on a course just to gain new knowledge that can give us just better understanding of a topic. I dunno how to explain it, but I tried.

Manipulator, INTPs are stereotyped as lazy and procrastinating. This forum is basically a social platform for people with unmet potential.

It would be easier to miss this memo if it were wrapped around a brick and thrown through your kitchen window. I could accept that NTJ's have less issues with motivation, but all NTs? You're crazy.

I can't speak for other NTJs (obviously) but I lack motivation if I have no goals in sight. If I have something to work toward which I find sufficiently interesting, I'll work all day and night on it. If interesting work dries up, I'll quite happily sit around with my thumb up my ass for days on end.

Actually, that isn't true. After a day or so I have to find some little project or other, lest I become demented.

My wife seems to have less of an issue with motivation, but she's just one of those rare people who has buckets of energy. She can run rings around me.
