Required reading:

Coming eventually: By that, I mean when I feel like it, which will probably be never then, sorry.
Diagrams.
Videos.
Charts.

Needs to be updated:
No cussing? Fuck that.
Are the cognitive functions correctly matched to the personality types?
Updated description of Cognitive Functions. Well, this is quite comprehensive, actually.

Disclaimer: This is all just a theory.

Personality is constantly changing.

You cycle through different persona's in different situations, but at rest you have one of these personalities:

INTP INFP ISTP ISFP
INTJ INFJ ISTJ ISFJ
ENTP ENFP ESTP ESFP
ENTJ ENFJ ESTJ ESFJ

Cognitive functions:(Closed functions can't be paired together/ Open functions can't be paired together.)

Ti-/-Fe Fi-/-Te
Ni-/-Se Ne-/-Si

Intuition, perception, senses — open functions
Thoughts, feelings, judgements — closed functions
Is perception a cognitive function?

Type Indicator:

Ni-Te/Fi-Se — INTP
Ni — First function determines introverted or extroverted P or J
Te — Second function determines introverted or extroverted N/S or T/F
/
Shadow cognitive functions:
Fi — First function determines introverted or extroverted P or J.
Se — Second function determines introverted or extroverted N/S or T/F.

(Vice-versa for every personality type.)

That is if we only have 4 cognitive functions.

Personality Types and Cognitive Functions:

INTP — Ni-Te/Fi-Se \ ISFJ — Fi-Se/Ni-Te
INFP — Ni-Fe/Ti-Se \ ISTJ — Ti-Se/Ni-Fe
ISTP — Si-Te/Fi-Ne \ INFJ — Fi-Ne/Si-Te
ISFP — Si-Fe/Ti-Ne \ INTJ — Ti-Ne/Si-Fe

ENTP — Ne-Ti/Fe-Si \ ESFJ — Fe-Si/Ne-Ti
ENFP — Ne-Fi/Te-Si \ ESTJ — Te-Si/Ne-Fi
ESTP — Se-Ti/Fe-Ni \ ENFJ — Fe-Ni/Se-Ti
ESFP — Se-Fi/Te-Ni \ ENTJ — Te-Ni/Se-Fi

Mutations are new ideas.
Mutations alter our physical appearances.

What is an idea?

It's a balance between a thought/feeling.
Ideas are feelings and/or thoughts.

Extroverts vs. Introverts:

Introverts focus on their reality.
Extroverts focus on reality.

Thoughts vs. Feelings:

What's the difference between a feeling and a thought?

Do you think a feeling?
Do you feel a thought?
Feelings are an idea.
Thoughts are an idea.
Feelings — That thing thinkers try ignore.
Thoughts — That thing feelers try ignore.

Intuition vs. Senses:

Intuition — Kinetic flow of your thoughts/feelings.

Example:
You create a thought and it has it's own momentum. It moves through space and there is no law of gravity in space, so the thought either keeps flowing until it is attracted to another 'thoughts' gravity. The thought crashes into that thought or the thought is carried by that thoughts gravitational pull and further out into space. Or a thought is repelled by a opposing thought.

For feelings: switch out thought with feeling.

Senses — Human beings have a multitude of senses. In addition to the traditionally recognized five senses of sight (ophthalmoception), hearing (audioception), taste (gustaoception), smell (olfacoception or olfacception), and touch (tactioception), other senses include temperature (thermoception), kinesthetic sense (proprioception), pain (nociception), balance (equilibrioception) and acceleration (kinesthesioception). What constitutes a sense is a matter of some debate, leading to difficulties in defining what exactly a sense is. -Wikipedia

Judgement vs Perception:

Judgement — Facts. Proof. Evidence.
Perception — ?

Judgers — Out.
Perceivers — In.

Outer characteristics:(Your mind is reflected through your body.)

Ns — Bright eyes
Ss — Worldly eyes

Examples:

INTP — Me? Me. Maybe.
INFP — Allison Harvard
ISTP — Ryan Gosling

General idea of a type: Every personality type is a 'God'.

INTPs — Rational 'Gods' INTPs believe in thoughts.
INFPs — Emotional 'Gods' INFPs believe in feelings.

ISTPs — Inner Worldy? 'Gods' ISTPs believe in their logical reality/world.
ISFPs — Inner Worldy? 'Gods' ISFPs believe in their emotional reality/world.

INTJs — Logic 'Gods' INTJs believe in their logic.
INFJs — Feeling 'Gods' INFJs believe in their emotions.

ISTJs — Sensory 'Gods' ISTJs believe in logical reality.
ISFJs — Sensory 'Gods' ISFJS believe in emotional reality.

I can't really describe extroverts. >_>
(Well, extroverts are the same as introverts, but their energy is directed into reality. Done.)

Your shadow:

You will never know your other self.
It's the sense of fear that drives you. It is constantly watching over you, but it protects you. The shadow is the distant figure constantly creeping up on you. It is your worst nightmare. Every negative thought and feeling that you hide is shown in your shadow. The sudden twitch you feel — the overwhelming sense of uneasiness.

However, do not fear your own shadow because you are a shadow of your shadow. It can't hurt you because it's just the absent image of yourself. It reflects on something that exists. Your shadow needs you to survive. You need your shadow to survive.

Dualities:
AB-BA/ab-ba
Duality of cognitive functions/personality/everything

Unconfident ENTJ — INTP? Te-Ni/Se-Fi — Ni-Te/Fi-Se
Confident INTP — ENTJ? Ni-Te/Fi-Se — Te-Ni/Se-Fi
Extroversion/Introversion get swapped.

Shadow functions for INTPFi-Se since these are the things we tend to ignore — the real world and our feelings.
Regular INTP Ni-Te/Fi-Se
Shadow INTP Fi-Se/Ni-Te = ISFJ
Prime functions swapped with shadow functions.

How to develop yourself: Develop your shadow functions and theoretically you should be able to switch between these two personalities easily.
Develop your extroverted functions and you can switch between those two personalities easily.

Congratulations, you now have multiple personality disorder.
Maybe.
You have a preference for one of these personalities and you probably don't even know it.

I think I act like an ENTJ in person now.
Maybe.
I'm much better at being an INTP, though.

Logic to personalities:
Okay, so since everything occurs in dualities.
Dual functions, personalities, etc.

2x2=4 4x2=8 8x2=16 16x2=32 32x2=64 64x2=128 128x2=256 256x2=512 512x2=1024
Logic to personalities? Logic is chaotic though. Asymptotes/infinity/Chaos theory/etc
Apply logic to feelings even more chaos.

Chaos/Control

Loops/Loops

Fruit-Loops/Attempt at bad duality joke with something else-loops

Men/Women

Girls/Boys

Dogs/Cats

Girls/Girls

Boys/Boys

You are a universe. How? Big bang — That's how you were created, motherfucker.
You're made up of dead stars. You're made up of past/current/future existences/universes of each other.

It's just very chaotic, okay?

Just be glad that we experience time linearly. :]
Just be glad that you're alive.

I could be completely wrong, though. : DD

Introverts focus on their reality.
Extroverts focus on reality.

This part is pretty agreed upon. I had never thought of that in quite that basic and straightforward a way.

You write too much. That too, I cannot comprehend your information as how it already shows itself being detailed.

Thank you so much, Mello, for the beautiful new thought toy. I shall have a lot of fun with it. Adding my own thoughts to it. I especially enjoyed your comment on the shadow... I've never applied the jungian shadow to mbti.

However... It may have been dangerous to be given this data while at my current primitive state of self-understanding.

You're welcome.

I'll try and go more in-depth describing the relations between cognitive functions soon.

I'm really curious if I'm just a constantly under confident ENTJ now....either that, or during the summer/late spring I become a confident INTP (which sounds more accurate).

The fact that I quite literally switch my personality and attitude towards most things every six months or so is really interesting to me now. Also would explain why every spring I suddenly have no issue with the idea of going outside and getting to know tons of people and socializing and getting things done. Then winter/late fall hits and all I want to do is hole up in my house and read and learn about weird interesting shit.

I know virtually nothing about typing, except what I read in this thread and a few others, but was curious if anyone happened to feel similar.

Maybe there is a regular and obsessive personality in one.

Like INTP ISTP

Generally stuck up in abstract thoughts yet constantly intruded with reality thoughts.

Generates fantasies.
