Invading your reality
Not a serious post, just wanted to know your thoughts on animals representing MBTI.
-Some folks on the net have attempted to give types animal 'totems'.
+I can see their reasoning behind some, but some others have not been thought through/researched carefully enough imho.
Random internet example of MBTI animal association

For example, I identify as a raven (insert raven mad joke here)
-I think ravens are most like INTP, since they are the smartest of birds...
Curious, cunning, playful, mostly solitary and adaptable, they fit the 'bill':

"Ravens are one of the most playful birds. They are well known for their intelligence and cunning activities".
"These birds prefer a private life and hence found living in woods, hills, valleys, and solitary areas"

I often find owls representing INTP, in quizzes and elsewhere.
-The owl connection is based on solely fictional association with intelligence, but valid too as a 'totem' for INTP owl fans.
-I'm just a hole-pecking pedant with a corvid bias ;)

^ Some of the info on that list strongly suggests INTP.

INTJ, Eagle
I grew up with an INTJ, he strikes me as being very eagle like; confident, certain, efficient, effective, trusted, always knows right.

INTJ, Calculated and executed perfectly:

INFJ, Snow Leopard
My friend's totem as an INFJ is probably the snow leopard, since they are rare, shy, and live in the Himalayas (where Buddhist monks hide out).

-It might also be a unicorn, however:

Anyway, I don't know other types well enough to comment further.

-What do you folks think your MBTI animal might be, or other's animals?

I feel like they picked a bunch of animals first and them tried giving them all different types *shrug*

IDK what animal I would be, but would love to be able to see myself as an octopus. I am prolly closer to a clown fish tho.

i can't see the pic (that's just my own computer's problem)

ISFJs are awesome. Maybe a sweet dog that is extremely loyal to its family, and is definitely strong and awesome and has their power increased when they are in a pack of those they think are awesome
They can also be kinda 'eager to please' and like feeling needed, which makes me think of dogs again
But they're also sweet, cautious and deer like.

INTPs are like cats in some ways, introverted, lazy (more like self-centered efficiency.), annoyed by things, blah blah.
But cats are sooo nuanced. Friking weird fricks. You can't understand them. They disguise their true intentions, give you mixed signals, friking Schrödinger's cats indeed.
Who would that be? INTJ possibly?

INFJ as snow leopard seems legit.

what's an ISTP? I always think of cool people like Aragorn for ISTP.
cool, practical, cool, handy, useful, etc
What type of animal is the most cool
Idk I mean bears came to mind?? Some cool canine
Lone wolf
Yeah

Ahhhhhh

An Owl in hindsight would make sense to represent INTPs. As the image said, "Wise and Calm". And though it makes sense, I think it's not enough to just be labeled as the smart calm one. It might not seem like it, but we actually have a lot of emotions and layers that we don't usually expose. So I think that a raven or a cat would work better.

I think INTPS are platypus'. It just makes so much more sense, considering how odd peeps here seems to be. Raven is like too cool for school, but I like Ravens. :)

Owls being associated with intelligence is not fictional (well, technically it is, but not because what you guys are thinking).

Athena (the greek godess of strategy and intelligence) always was depicted with/as an owl. Therefore, owls = intelligence.

I also like owls as INTPs, solitary, smart, night hunters, they doesn't mind about anything else, direct and incredibly beautiful :D

If not, maybe some kind of snake.

Hmmm... I have a ENTP friend and it's like... evil. They can be as smart as INTPs and they also have those reaally weird ideas about everything, he also has no respect for society and its rules.

That's why I'd say foxes for ENTPs... maybe even raccoons. :twisteddevil:

I wouldn't be sure about other MBTIs.

I like owls because harry potter. I want that WB & J.K Rowling and other motherfuckers who have rights to hp build wizard district in London. You could rent apartment there, dress like wizard - live like wizard. I wasnt in that movies museum but just looking online its look so small. And its not part of city. Why they cannot see great oportunity ($$$) in this? All that people doing LARPs/wizard wedings/ carfts and arts shops on etsy, they will pay rent and attract fucking billion of tourists.
