The Vigilante can post in his/her QT, or PM me directly. Note: the Vigilante can only kill one player, but that kill can come at any time. I will notify players of the kill via the game thread as soon as I receive the request.

If vigilante kills someone during a day cycle and that person has already cast a vote does the vote stand or is it erased with their existence?

Also is there any case where the vigilante's identity is revealed with the kill? (ie. if it's day does everyone see the vigilante pull out their gun and waste someone else, or is it assumed he finds a secluded place to do the deed?)

Encouraged. PM, IRC (if anyone still uses that?) email, you name it - just keep logs so that we can enjoy any subterfuge you employed after the game has ended.

The standard QT threads will also be created for spectators and wolves.

What are the limits to this? Presumably if I'm town I can't screencap you telling me I'm town and messaging it to everyone.

If a cop gets to see a person's role during the night cycle, then yeah. However, don't count on this being in the game. It's 50/50 between seer and vigi. I'm going to flip a coin on it.

Their identity will be revealed. In my mind, this forces the vigi to think more strategically. If you think this is game-breaking somehow (it could be - this is my first attempt at GMing) we could change the vigi to assassin, and have the kill carried out in top sekrit.

Roles have been selected, and were randomised by creating a list of names > generating random numbers between 1-9 to assign to them, then generating and randomising a list of roles.

In other words, I was fair. Yay for me; yay for you.

This was probably a convoluted way of doing it, but fuck me. I'm somewhat hazy.

General Structure
The game will start when it starts (most likely at 10pm CST because I'm most likely to be available to be there consistently at that time).

Minimum posting
You must make a minimum of 6 posts per "day" in the main thread.

Lynches/Player Death(s)
Lynches will be a plurality at the end of day. Whoever has the most votes at that time is lynched. NO LYNCH is an option. If there is a tie, the outcome will be selected at random among those tied.

No outside communication
Only acceptable as instructed. The standard QT threads will be created for spectators and daleks.

What does "The Doctor's role will be variable" mean though?

I edited to say "the doctor's abilities will be variable". It means that the doctor may have more than one ability (like cop, doctor, roleblocker, jailkeeper, vigilante, etc.). That player must choose which to use at the appropriate time, and will have a limit as to how many times they can use each.

It'll be like a jack-of-all-trades, but I think I might deviate a little.

I guess I liked it for a while when I was younger, and tried to continue liking it, but now I find it pretty meh.

I don't care what the theme is, though, only content. Though I'll probably by bad habit revert to using "scum" or "wolf" instead of dalek. Sometimes it just feels like having to remember the right word (like dalek) hinders my train of thought
