To avoid forum clutter, this will be a centralized signup thread for mafia on this forum. It will work as follows:
1. A moderator will declare their intent to host a game, nominating the number of players and a rough outline of the setup.
2. Players can opt into a particular game simply by posting /IN for *modname* in bold text. For example if both Hadoblado and PmjPmj were running a game and you wanted to join Hadoblado's game, you would say:
/IN for Hadoblado
Either Hadoblado or myself could then add you to the game's queue. This would be done using this particular shade of bold, blue text.
3. To opt out of a particular game, you can simply type /OUT for *modname*
4. Game moderators are free to update their queue or game details in this thread, and to maintain their own player lists. I'll try to help out where possible. Maintaining lists should be kept as simple as possible. Ideally in this format:
Player list for Hadoblado's 13 player game
1. redbaron
2. Fukyo
3. Gopher
4. Pmj
5. Blahblah
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
If a player is added or removed, the name is simply added or removed from the list.
The advantages of this system is that people could also /IN to replace when there's no open queues, so that moderators are aware of who is or isn't available to play the game. You can opt in or out to replace as needed. It's a nice tidy way of getting people into and out of games with minimum fuss.
