Yeah, there was a comment about the Dr. Who player having way too much stuff to juggle in the upcoming game.
It's kind of the thing with participation and why I haven't played... because regardless of what some people said, I'm actually pretty busy / can't afford to block off Mafia time and the game of Mafia I played was really hell on me due to the time commitment I kept my promise to make. About all I can afford is to sit in the "heckle-tator" box, since I can just pop in and out at will when I have a moment.
Vanilla Town seems to be the easiest draw -- there's a lot of them (in comparison), you can play pretty straight-forward, and your biggest thing is simply (1) looking like Town and (2) finding scum. And if you get killed, it's probably the "least" deal among all the categories although obviously in the long run it matters -- still, the expectation is that some Town necessarily need to die in this game.
Drawing scum or power roles complicates things and feels like a much heavier burden, demanding a lot more care with thread reading and "strategerizing." Especially here if you draw the Doc.
And since you don't know what you'll draw...

I like the creative spin to the most recent games in terms of setting (Despite Dr. Who), and think it's cool if and when the gamerunner can invest time in the narrative a bit. It makes it more of a story experience versus a mechanical/strategic exercise.

When I announced I was going to bed that wasn't generally true. It was more of a "I'm going to go focus on more relaxing things for a bit" announcement. My sleep cycle for the past few days has been "watch tv or something for an hour or two (I'm watching this awesome Korean thriller/drama right now), go to sleep sometime around 3 or 4am, wake up at 7:30/8 if I can. Go back to sleep until like 2 or 3pm"
That shit wasn't even that bad,
Just imagine what it's like being stuck in my head 24/7, man.

No thanks. Based on my experience with your kind I can say my near-perpetual state of anxiety-fueled insanity is preferable. One of my close friends is INTJ and I wouldn't wish his existence on anyone.

The doctor who role will be a little complicated, but I wanted a game with a fair bit of surprise but a good balance. This was my best option to avoid being too swingy. I took like 3 approved setups from the MS Wiki and kind of smashed them together.
