A rather famous brain, actually. H.M. underwent an experimental procedure for intractable epilepsy about 50 years ago--they removed a rather large chunk of brain (the hippocampus and part of the cortex, I believe). Since then, he's had serious amnesia. Sucks for him, but great for science--he's been a human guinea pig ever since. A lot of what we know about memory came from him.

He finally died recently, so his whole brain is being sectioned. They're going to put the histopath slides up on their site for the public to see. Very cool.
