Lazy Summer Days?

What have been your favorite memories of this summer (or one in your past)?

Going to Ithica NY last week was cool. It's a nice little town and Cornell has a nice campus.

Coming home, that night there was a thunderstorm that lasted for at least 3 hours. Most t-storms blow over in 15 minutes but this one went on and on. Sure, the power went out until mid-afternoon the next day but during the storm there were between 150-200 lightening strikes withing a 10 mile radius. Big sky to ground bolts too, not those weenie across the sky bolts.

Best light show I've ever witnessed.

I'm going camping this next week, hopefully something memorable will pop up. I've been trying to learn things this summer.

This has been the worst summer of my entire life.

The best thing I can think of is me getting to play WoW after waiting for 5 years now.

spending time in a drug rehabilitation class and doing community service at a local 2nd-hand clothing store. Getting to know everyone was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.

AA meetings were also great. Even though i was new to the group, the welcomed me in like i was one of their family.

I went to Otakon this summer. A bigger nerdgasm has yet to be seen by me.

2 years ago my and 2 friends were setting off a big collection of fireworks that i had. once we were done we gathered up all the remains and lit them on fire, as well as anything else we could find that might have been worth burning, including an axe can (can you see where this is going?)

anyways, the fire was dying down, and we were just lying about 10 feet away from the fire on the grass when suddenly the axe can erupted and a huge mushroom of flame shot up into the air and depris flew everywhere. one of my friends burned his leg, but other than that, it was pretty awesome
