Black Rose
An unbreakable bond
Introverted Thinking seems to be all about reflection on any subject.
This is different from actual engagement with real-world thinking (Te).
INTP is different from ISTP because Ne is what drives INTP. Ne is more so an assortment of associations, a collection of all possible things in the world. INTP will take reflection (Ti) and dive into Ne speculations. It will take all possibilities, reflect on their true nature, and then release a flood of example counter examples of all conceptual contents.
ISTP is not the same as xSFP because Fi drives Se into an attachment of what is present. Ti will make Se more about tinkering/experimenting with Se, that is it will be about getting Se to turn into something. Fi will take Se and form extreme likes and dislikes, emotions will burn these perceptions into some kind of motivation. Ti instead, will codify Se perceptions into small algorithmic units.
If INTP were to do computer programming they would start thinking of all structures and substructures. ISTP would look at a task and what smaller algorithms must be in place first then build on top. ISTP would use Ni as the base or what would be considered a subjective notion of the idea that is to be solved first then rely on it for each part.
Te would actually if writing a program make a model of the problem first, gradually taking things apart and putting them together but also taking all the data on what is necessary for the completion of the code. It is empirical so studying the problem and making sure it can all be related to the result as every angle of it and every facet of the design is something to be experienced first and used as a mental tool for construction.
Te-Se and Ti-Ni then are and have similarities, In the ISTP it is about the smaller steps, and in INTJ it is about the final product. The Ti process is one: enhanced by Ni contemplation, two: developed when they see something works. Te and Se will see what works and then engage with a new experiment. The difference is that Ti will reflect on what has been seen to work via Se and then come up with a new subjective idea about it (Ni).
INTP
Ti - Reflect on Ne possibilities that were induced from the environment.
ISTP
Ti - Reflect on what has been seen to work (Se) then come up with new ideas (Ni).
This is what it means to be INTP or ISTP.
