Just wanted to share what I think is my earliest INTP moment.
My mom tells this story to everyone. When my mom was in labor with me I was already ten months in the womb. During the labor I turened around and went back to sleep. The doctor had to reach in and turn me around. Here's the kicker, when I finally came out I didn't cry. My mom said I just looked around as if I could see 100%. or as she puts it "you looked like you wanted to say 'it's about time'". They all thought i would have some mental retardation becouse I was so quiet the whole time I was at the hospital. I didn't cry intill we got ready to leave the hospital a week later. I just wasent ready to come out and conform like all the other babies. I've always been a quite kid reading books in trees and doing little experiments with the neighborhood kids. just always watching. As far as I can remember I've always been INTP

Interesting. I don't know if anything unusual about my birth, but I was quite the temperamental infant, and was stubborn about breastfeeding at first. And I was also the quiet kid, reading books in the front yard since I was 3 (my mom refused to read to me 24/7) and watching the other kids do their thing in the neighboring yards.

I have no birth stories because my mom was drugged and sleeping basically. She woke up to the nurse yelling at her for being a bad mother and not feeding her baby. lol
However, I was a quiet well behaved baby/child. Right when I learned to walk my mom would give me the bottle and tell me to put myself to bed and I would waddle off by myself. I was also rebellious when I thought it needed.. not sure where that came from.

I was born with the umbilical cord around my neck, I was navy-blue and almost dead.. two weeks early. I was very difficult baby. I would apparently scream every time my mother touched me (and she was a stay-at-home-mom). I was early for every developmental stage, and I went through several phases when I refused to speak to my parents or brother.. they rarely lasted more than a month at a time though because my parents saw it as an act of defiance and treated it as such.

Like me, a little. When I was one year old I still wasn't walking. They thought, what the hell is wrong with this kid? Turns out because I was a spoiled little queen all I had to do was point in the direction of the room I wanted to go and my big sisters would carry me. The doctor said "don't carry this child anywhere" and I was walking within a couple of weeks.

I remember much about my life as infant,probably nothing happens much during that time though.My father told I was pretty mischevious kid when I can move freely,and whenever I go to function or party or something,everyone will be wary of me because they can't predict what I am going to destroy next.

When all the kids were having playdates after school, my mom asked me why I didn't want to join and apparently I said, "I already see them every day. Why do I need to see them after school?"

The interesting thing about having six fingers, is that in humans it is a dominant gene, having only five is actually recessive. The reason why six fingers is rare, is it actually was selected against (don't mean to scare you, but I recall one of my professors saying it was linked to the development some sort of cancer). I strongly suspect however that having a not fully formed sixth finger only on one hand is not quite the same genetically as having two fully formed sixth fingers though, so I think you're probably in the clear.

I do think it's interesting though, because otherwise I bet having two fully formed sixth fingers would be advantageous, and have ended up being selected for.

I've also just remembered that when I was about two my parents found out that I'd been getting up in the night, unlocking the childgate they put across my door, going to the toilet, then actually locking it again when I went back

Nope, but we do go through an extensive larval stage, before building a cocoon and gestating further. We then metamorphose into an adult complete with a winter coat, unemployment check, and a concealed weapon permit.

I don't think anything particularly interesting or unusual happened in my birth or infancy. I've been told that, unlike most of you (apparently), I was REALLY loud when I was little. I don't think I was very obviously INTP-ish, based on what people have told me about my early childhood, except for my insane thirst for knowledge. Also, I was apparently a pretty smart kid. (I specifically recall doing things like doing the problems in kindergarten math books for the purpose of recreation--when I was maybe four years old.) For some reason I was always determined to escape the house, and no lock or obstacle or barrier could keep me inside. No matter how many locks and gates and fences and stuff they used, I was always able to find a way to get out of the house and go play in the street.
