Pseudoscience (noun): anything which claims to be true but does not have any significant amount of evidence.
Science (noun): anything which claims to be true, was derived using the scientific method, and is the current accepted scientific paradigm (which it would only attain the status of a scientific paradigm or theory if it had a significant amount of evidence behind it).
Science (verb): the process of doing the scientific method to seek knowledge.
Also. At some point it was mentioned that something was dubious because it was a "theory" and not a "scientific fact". For the last time. Theories = scientific fact in science. There are a few "Laws"...but a "theory" is still something which has been proven again and again with lots of evidence. I'll stop further distracting from the thread now...sorry.
Also: to the people who posted the very nice physics explanations....thanks...really interesting and useful.
