I don't currently have the means to start/maintain this ATM, BUT, as a concept, I think having and a forum for intuitives in general might be beneficial.

It would probably have the effect of redirecting people who are unsure of their judgement functions to pile into that forum (which would also encourage this forum to be less diluted by other types/ be more INTP exclusive).

There's a lot involved in running a forum, and there are already forums out there where intuitives have lodged...

IOW, unless you offer a very tangible benefit far above what another place offers or have a very active marketing campaign or a ton of people willing to seed a site for you... ehhh...

Heck, another intuitive site started up just within the last two weeks, but I doubt it'll go anywhere, due to it lacking the things I stated above.

I think only people with an extremely in-depth knowledge of MBTI would go searching for such a thing. I mean, most people just take a test and they come up as INTP or whatever. Then they go looking for a forum. People who have learned about functions are probably a very small subset of all people being typed as INTP. Hell, I am not even sure what "intuitives" means. Is it people with N above S in their stack?

@Jennywocky

Yeah, I'll think about it more in the future.

Though, what forums are you referring to? I could only find personality cafe/ the various singular type forums (intj, infj, etc.)

@Tannhauser

Also a good point.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but yeah, an "intuitive" is someone who has an intuitive (N) function "before" a sensing (S) function. Ex: TiNeSiFe

This forum greatly benefits from not being intp exclusive. What a boring place that would be.

As Jenny pointed out, everyone has the social sites they frequent, there would have to be something worthwhile to go someplace else and there isn't much to offer by mbti-theory in itself.

To be honest, I think the INTP subforum on personality cafe is more active than this forum; its at least as active. And that's just one of 8 intuitive types. Each N subforum has steady participation.

Most of these multi-types sites (because they are online and typology centered) already seem to cater to intuitives / have larger and more active intuitive memberships vs sensors anyway.

The word intuitive attracts people who simply imagine things and consider it to be factual knowledge. You know, going from A to C without having a need to consider B. In other words: "Aliens!"

The word interpretative may attract people who are aware of their subjectivity or of the process that is involved in figuring something out. Intelligent and humble people, including sensors.

Personally i am pissed about not knowing a good message board in my home country and i've been thinking about how to gather interpretatives without making it about typology, which is too unknown in germany. But i don't have the means to run a message board anyway ...

This forum is already lousy with intuitives. Without naming names, how many sensers are holding back your exclusive intuitive experience?

I can think of like... five prominent posters I consider notably senser.

Sensors will think that they are intuitive when everything that is attractive is considered to be the domain of Intuition, by Intuitives.

Perhaps Ne vs Ni are rather antagonistic and suppressive of each other.
I'm thinking 'RUMI, the poet' vs 'Ken Wilber / Dr Manhattan'.
There can be appreciation from a distance but direct dialogue is like fire vs water.

S vs N is more like a problem of distraction. Sex vs Meaning.
We crave both, but not at the same time.

I want an integral message board, a board for everyone, a board that has abstract categories to differentiate and include all perspectives, so that everyone who can share a perspective can meet in one place, but socializing is possible across the boundaries of specialization.

The only problem i see with it is that perhaps people can't understand the categories properly, but i think it can be taught. Both differentiation of and inclusion of all quadrants are important lessons for everyone.

Typology and the four Integral Quadrants (Inner World - left quadrants, Outer World - right quadrants, each emerging as singular/organic/upper quadrants mode and as plural/interactive/lower quadrants Mode) can serve a similar purpose and the quadrants are even more easy to understand, plus they function independently of egoic self image.

A differentiated inclusion of all stages of development is more tricky.

Donald Trump says let them all wear big "S" patches on their clothes... It's not typism; it's for everyone's safety!

I myself am bordering on NEIN, but I could be wrong.

Some people speculate that the shadow functions are in fact real and then HITLER could actually be a possible type.

NEIN and HEIL aren't really that similar. There should be no doubt if you've studied the theory enough.

I took an official IQ test on wednesday.
The final results should be in by next tuesday.

S and N have nothing to do with IQ. I am not biased in any way. ;)

I meant bordering on NEIN und EIN, between one and zero.

What an interesting theory on HITLER functions.
