Introverted thinking and intuition (Ti, Ni)

My two highest functions: Ti, Ni. What does it mean to be (that much) introverted, and in this manner (thinking & intuition)? How do these functions work for each other/ together; interplay? Anyone some examples? Thanks.

Technically, they don't fit together. At least not as your two highest function. Then again I find this one of the sort comings of cognitive functions myself.

That in the relatively vague difference between internal (introverted) and external (Extroverted) functions in general.

I believe Cognitive function can add clarity to typing however, I am not completely satisfied with their parring as far is the i and e are concerned.

Sorry for not having more to share I am still learning this information myself.

What makes you think you have these 2 functions as the top 2?

Could you explain what Ni means to you? What Ti means to you?

If you have those as your top two functions, it basically means that you are overly shy and psychologically unbalanced.

Obsidian, I'm not overly shy, tho i do feel sometimes psychologically unbalanced - not that i think it means i really am.

hasen, I cant explain what they mean to me to anyone including myself, in an objective (/in comparison) manner, since the knowledge i have so far on the functions is very limited - it d be ignorant of me. not to mention im supposedly bathing in them both so a logical understanding must come first (speaking personally) in order for a form to be able to click on either of them somewhat substantially.

Chad, i realized that an E function must be followed by an I one, and vice versa, interchangeably throughout 1-4 (numerical core make-up of a jungian personality type).
Thats the reason they dont fit together?

While this test does show some things quite clearly, I wouldn't bank on it too much. From what I remember of previous results, scores seem to fluctuate by approximately two point. As you can see below, I can tell clearly that I'm no Fi or Fe dom, but it's unclear whether I lead with Ti or Te, and whether I follow with Ni or Ne.

At this moment in time, I'm thinking I'm an ENTP (Ne dom), and this test isn't entirely consistent with this hypotheses. Last time I took it, I had a 10 for Ne, Te, and Ti, with Ni being quite low, and I believe Fe was at around 5 (as opposed to the 0 I got this time).

Thanks, Hadoblado. I generally do not think I'm anything else than Intp if I have to be something consistently. Empirical evidence point to that, but I stay open-minded.

In fact, now that I think of it, I think one of the most predictive factors of a redshirt later finding out they are not INTP, is for them to vehemently claim that they are INTP to the exclusion of any other option (not that I'm any kind of expert).

It seems that doubting one's INTPness is necessary but not sufficient for a person to actually be INTP.

Being INTP (or any other type for that matter) is kinda like your relationship between you and your biciycle. It matters both what it means to you and how you use it.

Fits my bill quite good as an INFJ. It isn't strange that I'd score high on Fi considering Ni and Ti give Fe a bit of an Fi vibe.

There where way too few questions though, and it often felt like the answer you gave could've been attributed to more than 1 function. Thus I don't think the OP has Ti and Ni as dom and aux.

I don't think those function tests are all that useful. For one thing, I'm not a big fan of the eight-function distinction. There are supposed to be four functions. And for each person, each function will have a particular orientation.
