Introducing myself

Hi,
I am a former lurker who finally decided to join.

I'm studying Philosophy in college, and English is not my first language (so I apologize for the lack of clarity you might sometimes find in my posts).

I found I was an INTP a while ago, while taking personality tests on the internet (I've always been a bit self obsessed). At first I used to believe I was an INFP, but after taking the MBTI test several more times, I realized I'm more Thinking than Feeling.

So, what compelled you to finally join the ranks of the living-dead?

Actually, joining was my original intention when I found the forum. But I decided to lurk a little (for only three days or so) to, you know, get to know what this was all about.

I always found it weird that INTP's don't just intuitively know they are thinkers. I mean, when I first started reading about the functions, the two that I was absolutely certain I was, was an I and a T. It was pretty much a matter of "Do I make decisions with my feelings, or care about how others feel? Fuck no, I guess I am a T."

But enough of my jibber-jabber, welcome to the world of replying to threads and not just reading them!

Well, I depend a little too much on my 6th sense, so that's where my confusion resided. And Wikipedia messed up with me. But, you're right, then I found I don't care about people enough to be an F.
