Perhaps you should post your definitions of liberal and conservative. Both words have been overused as pejoratives and carry a lot of baggage. I might see a conservativemerely as someone reluctant to change the way things are now out of fear they'll get worse, others will see a conservative as a superstitious knuckledragger who embraces fascism and has a shaky grip on reality. Who wants to identify as that?

I'm a moral relativist. Don't know if that helps clear up what political party I associate with, but there it is. Morals, how we conduct our lives, trumps (no pun intended) any political associations I could bother to align myself with.

Right now I am me.
There is no left no right no center, it is just divisions people make in their brain, how other people label people has not effect on me, I define myself.
I judge every case for itself, many times the best course of action is Liberal but not always, and there is no such thing as pure Liberal decision, or any other political movement, realty is more complex than 1D way of looking at things.

I would say neither listed.

I am a conservative liberal.

Only a Meritocracy would work.

I am greatly amused by political labels, they are much like mbti in the sense that they are an attempt to encompass such a staggering complexity of different human interactions into neatly categorized glass bottles. I guess this plays into the average human's preference for drawing lines in the sand instead of letting it sift through their fingers.

Humanity exists in a state of natural anarchy, as we always have.

Much like a pride of lions or a colony of ants, our political interactions are simply an expression of what we are as a species. The political structure of lions is simpler than ours with deviations occurring mostly due to ecological and geographical influences, but as a more complex species, we have a greater myriad of ways to view and interact with this chaotic existence.

A law, whether communist, corporate or tribal, is still adherent to natural anarchy, as it can be broken at any time.

The only laws we are truly adherent to are physical laws, where technology is a way in which we alter the restrictions these laws place on us.
For example, our species can now almost instantly communicate across continents, thus bypassing the biological restrictions in which we exist.

Even in a strictly Orwellian society mental anarchy can reign.
As long as our species is diverse no one individual will have the exact same psychological profile as any other.

Once we are all clones hooked up to identical virtual worlds, it can be argued that humanity has truly departed from the natural state of 'anything goes'.

Depends on your frame. Liberal to USA-standards can mean Conservative to EU-standards.

I am a fan of the pirate party as they come up with good ideas, but i realize it would not be a good idea to make them rule a government too soon (unless in Iceland maybe). Apart from that, I don't like either socialists(except Bernie) or too conservatives. So I'm generally inclined to support the center, which leads to christian-democrats on average. But all politicians say retarded things from time to time.

By that standard, you could wield no rhetorical weapon to defend yourself from being murdered. It would be a pure contest of wills.

The world has been an anarchy since life began on this planet. No rules exist say for what man makes. Unless you subscribe to a higher authority like God, which I do.

Agreed. A society and any part of it cannot survive without a Moral compass. That means anything invented or brought into existance must follow a set of Morals.

People need morals, way of life needs morals, systems built need to take morality into consideration and follow moral standards, the system of law and all systems in society need to follow morallity otherwise there would be chaos and anarchy.

Libertarian. I don't really care whether people seek change or want things to stay the same or want a balance of both as long as we all have our individual freedom to be who we are and do what we want and wasteful, restricting, and authoritarian government is kept at a minimum.

Plus it's kind of stupid to take every issue that occurs and pigeonhole people into a category of liberal or conservative and then treat them based on their category. It's probably one of the most idiotic things my country has created. meh

I am firmly in the center. I wonder if far rightists and far leftists and deluded cults should be illegal. I haven't yet arrived at the point of advocating that kind of state control. The 21st century is accelerating into a state of instability, and issues like public safety and military competence are more important than they were in the early post-war years. I'm not a big fan of eurosocialism or anything that's happening in America. What would be the proper reaction to the next 9/11? I don't see any utopias happening.
