INTP women and 2D:4D ratio

I know this seems like a silly thread but it's a strange question to ask anywhere else and I'm curious.

A low 2D:4D ratio(ring finger longer than index finger) can indicate a masculinized brain in women that is the result of prenatal androgen exposure. This can manifest itself as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, homosexuality, or a generalized "male-oriented" way of thinking in females.

I have a pretty low ratio and I have diagnosed ADHD and am bisexual but am primarily attracted to the female form.

What about you ladies?

Not mine. Left hand, index finger is longer. Right hand, they are close to the same size, index wins by a very small margin. I never noticed before that my index fingers are different lengths. (I broke the right one many years ago, on the middle joint, so I'm guessing that's why.)

Hmmm mine are rather pronounced I must admit. My ring fingers are about 3 millimeters longer on either hand. Low digit ratios are also associated with left handedness, and I'm cross dominant. There are some interesting studies done on the digit ratio, but I wouldn't put too much stock into it yet, as there are few concrete conclusions that can be drawn.

Well, my ring finger is shorter than my index finger on the left hand and significantly longer than the index finger on the right. I have felt attracted to women before, but I've never tried to pursue it. I would say I am heterosexual. I do have a somewhat"male-oriented" way of thinking and I do believe I have ADD, but have never been diagnosed.

That's interesting. The right hand is supposed to be more sensitive to the androgens but mine is about equal with the short index finger on both. I think most women tend to have an equal ratio on the left hand(meaning equal second and fourth digits, not equal to other hand), but usually not the opposite of the right.

::Takes a deep breath:: Not that I actually buy this stuff, but just to answer, my ring and index fingers appear to be fairly close in length on both hands. I have not had and do not have ADHD, dyslexia, or autism. I'm heterosexual, and I'm not inclined to think that I think in a "male-oriented" way (whatever that means). Yes, I work in a male-dominated field, and yes, I understand that there are significantly more INTP males than INTP females, but given social and cultural factors, I have yet to be convinced that possible genetic gender differences comprise the dominant force behind these two facts (sorry, I don't buy that personality is innate and hard-wired and cannot be changed).

My ring fingers are about a millimeter longer than my index fingers. I'm very feminine in appearance. Downright girly. Heterosexual too. I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid. Never medicated. ADD doesn't exist anymore and I don't have ADHD. I'm impulsive, but not enough to have ADHD. I have a thought process and worldview often stereotyped as male. I fail to see how characteristics, which are not physical or sexual, can be considered male or female. I suppose its cultural. I'm an INTP.

On my left hand my ring finger is about 2mm longer than my index finger. on my right hand it's about 1mm longer. I am not extremely girly, but nor am I masculine in appearance (though I lacked curves until I got pregnant). I am mainly heterosexual, with a few homoerotic tendencies toward women. Overall I would rate myself as 65% attracted to men 35% attracted to women (and yes I have acted on it on a few occasions). I was never diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, nor do I think I have those conditions. I am right handed also, but surprisingly creative. Someone once suggested to me that I have equal power on both hemispheres of my brain (I am a musician as well as scientific). Hope that this sheds some light on your question?

My fingers in this test match more conventional female fingers.

I identify overall as pretty "straight-ish" but on occasion can be attracted to same-sex members. (I met a lesbian over the weekend who gets it; she occasionally will find a guy whom she finds herself attracted to and will date.)

I am right-handed, but apparently I tried to be left-handed and was repeatedly trained by school and parents to not be left-handed. In brain tests and practical living, I'm dual-brained (equally good at math and English); imaginative and rational; and a good multitasker who can still process things well linearly even though I prefer a more holistic approach. I'm excellent with music (both performance and composition) and writing.

Well, the generalization is: it's based on hormonal levels in utero and the presence/intensity of androgens, which impacts body/bone ratios before birth that end up persisting. Sex hormones also potentially change brain wiring in people; we know changing the hormonal balance in rats and some other animals in utero changes their adult sexual behavior to mirror that of the other sex, regardless of what hormones they are given after birth.

The thing is just that there happens to be a great bit of variety within each gender, regardless, and so women can be born with more masculine finger ratios than some men, and vice versa. So you can't really predict specifics about an individual, you can only make generalizations.
