So i'm wondering...what excatly am I?

I'm quiet guy who thinks ALOT

I am a perfectionist who values intellgence

I HATE IDIOTS! If something isn't done I Don't move onnnnnn if it's important.

If I finds something interesting I spend alot of time studying something. I love to learn

Anyone know what I would fall under as?

These threads might prove useful:

http://www.intpforum.com/showthread.php?t=2565
http://www.intpforum.com/showthread.php?t=986

Anyways, the idea of the perceiving type is one of complete sloppiness. However, some perceiving types might be rather organized, therefore getting results as judgers. So, in order to clear that out, it's best to take it to a functional level. See the other thread at the end of the post.

If you are a INTP, it is very likely that you like to gather knowledge. Once enough knowledge about a particular subject is achieved, you might get the feeling that you've seen it all, and move on to something else.

If you are a INTJ, it is very likely that you'd be more interested in applying knowledge. Whenever you find a subject, you might see the potential from that, and learn as much as to reach that goal.

This site gives a very good analogy to that, saying : "The INTJ resembles a chess player, ruminating on the possibilites and then making decisive accurate moves. If the INTP played life as chess, he would keep wishing to modify the allowed-move-properties of his various pieces to optimise his strategy, find that that isn't allowed, and ask to start the game afresh!"

My descriptions might be a bit shallow, or even wrong, who knows, but i hope that helps.

Also, if more information is required,

Kind of ambiguous. I really don't dislike unintelligent people to an extreme degree anymore. However, INTJs interact with Te so others' outward behavior must be logical, intelligent or productive. Unless they are comfortable with the person.

Ni-Te
Accumulates knowledge that is inspected for productivity to be fed to the Self' imagination and it's own complex opinion of the world. Ni-Te sees reality as it is what it can be and what it will be.

Ti-Ne
Accumulates knowledge arbitrarily, patterns are sought out to deduct natural truths that, together, form the Self's internal model of reality. Ti-Ne sees reality as it might be.

P-type means tolerance, accepting other's points of view, beliving that there are many good choices, we change major. Rather don't say "no"- open-mind but lack of assertiveness, submissive.
NP-type uses suspension points, likes books without end -Kafka's books etc.
J- type is conservative, decided. Male attribute. Knowing. Active. Self-confident.

P-means you'll be always shy and passive, waiting for invitation, good listeners, carefull, affraid but trying, thrilling, always breaking ourselves.
INTP-Einstein said:"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"
Of course, every research starts from forming expectancies, but we are not ashamed to say we've changed our mind.
Researching, tasting, experiencing, digging, never sure. We say "I'll try" instead "I'll do it".

Hating intolerance and close-mind, and let people have their opinion.
It's essence of liberalism.
Sorry I'm not objective, I prefer this perception.

I can't find this quote, but Robert Byrd something like this: Extermist break up glass instead wash it, Tore defend old evil, Liberal relive old evil by new on
J-Tore, P-liberal, for extermines lacks label.

This is too much of a stereotypical view. J types can be unconfident in areas they know they can't handle and P types are assertive in areas that they are competent in.

You're right, EyeSeeCold. But I'm not pretty sure if 100% P type can be assertive. Is it that moment at movies when shy person say "No" and everyone is impressed or everyone ignore him?
Yes, P type can spectacular.

I thought that this quote by my INTJ friend just now fit pretty well in this thread pretty well:

Heh I've been wanting to get back into 3D design for a bit... problem is that it is a pretty intense hobby, and I'd have to pretty much ignore everything else if I wanted to make progress. Actually... I kind of feel that way about all of my hobbies. It's pretty much impossible for me to do several hobbies at once like you do... I have to devote 100% of my time to something, or it seems like I get no satisfaction from doing it lol. Soon as I think about starting something, my brain automatically goes into management mode and sets up these milestones I have to meet in order for it to be worthwhile lol. If i don't think I can meet the milestones, I just don't start it to begin with.

This is vastly different to how I go about things...I have so many ideas flowing at such a constant rate, that I would never be able to keep to "milestones" if I tried to impose them on myself.

I believe someone might already have suggested that test to you, but have you taken the Cognitive processes test?

Instead of giving the results in a dichotomy, they're given within the function framework. So that may clarify your doubts. Also, their descriptions seem to be a bit more organic.

Just from your writing style alone, I would say not INTJ. They tend to be very dry and succinct, in writing, especially. :) INTJs don't like to describe themselves, I think. :)
