INTJs don't need acid?

It looks like some people don't need LSD (acid). It was a part of a series of lysergic acid derivatives designed for obstetrics or cardiac symptoms but miraculously, Albert Hofmann accidentally ingested some by chance, and ended up discovering it had "psychedelic" effects.

Acid isn't really psychedelic, except it is at higher doses. Some people say they don't get visuals from it but you can.

It will sedate you so you "melt into the couch" then after it kicks in, it's somewhat like a stimulant.

I have an idea that I might be autistic or depressed unless I use acid. My brain might be broken - except when I take acid, I can feel good. So I usually save it for a rainy day or if I have a few days open. People go to shows or festivals and are usually doing MDMA, acid, or smoking pot.

I know some INTJs IRL. It's a different mode of perception, I think. You have to see what it's like for them, but some people say they don't need it.

LSD means lysergic säure diethyamid, säure is the German Swiss word for acid. In America and the rest of the world we still say LSD. Except, there was some research (by Americans) where they altered the norlysergic acid molecule to come up with acid analogues, alkylated on the 6 nitrogen atom. Nor lysergic acid is just acid without the methyl group on the 6N, and it's not active, so nothing happens if you take it. So all they did was put different carbon groups on it to see what it does to the potency, and they just designated them corresponding names - so LSD under that nomenclature is METH-LAD. They put an ethyl group (C2H5) on it and it's ETH-LAD, reportedly more intense than acid. There's also AL-LAD, PRO-LAD, BU-LAD, and PARGY-LAD. The other "designer drugs" of acid are 1P-LSD (propionyl on the 1N) or ALD-52 (acetoxy on 1N), which readily dissolves into LSD in vivo so it's basically identical to regular acid and may have been the Orange Sunshine LSD popular throughout the 70's. There are also reports that it has "less visual distortion" than LSD, though.

So what's the point? There is none. It's only to help people. It expands the mind, but also causes bizarre thoughts. Plus you're way too stoned for way too long which can get annoying, if you smoke weed it only lasts like 2-4 hours.

Try not to think you can really fly, though.

No one really needs it, but I can see it having therapeutic benefits for some. Just like psilocybin and MDMA can help with trauma, lsd and others can be beneficial (and fun).

Whether or not an INTJ would find less use of it, that depends on the person. I've recently disregarded people's type when they're under the influence of certain things. After a certain point (dose), you see less of the person and more of the drug. I wouldn't have said that 5 years ago, but I think no drug will be good for everyone that uses it.

That's called addiction.

I would agree, although LSD and most other psychedelics aren't physically addicting, anything can be psychologically addicting. I don't think I'm autistic without my drug of choice, but definitely depressed without it.
