Have to agree with xxpbdudexx, your sig makes no sense. Bringing the thread back I'm always bored and always interested in random facts with no purpose so I'll check them out.

Yeah who created the nothing that existed that triggered nothing causing a big bang of nothing(however if there was a god then we wouldn't be able to understand with our minds[how it is so]). But back on track INTPs do tend to get bored so if there is something complex in the link YAY.

@gopher: if you knew any quantum mechanics you would understand the big bang much better

^ I don't think so. The basic principle is that something came from nothing, which will always be hard to comprehend. These scientists claim that the Big Bang theory makes sense, but their logic only holds together if you assume that the universe came from nothing, once you agree to that then everything else can fall into place.

When did the topic change from 'if you are bored . . . .' to 'the big bang theory'?
@Topic,
I wanted to suggest than other people should also be able to post their recommended sites here so as to prevent the rapid death of such a potentially informative thread. Members who know any 'cool' or interesting sites can post them here. Thanks.
My suggestions:

http://www.listverse.com

The universe need not have an origin and it need not have an end.

And then there's the possibility of a multi-verse as a result of certain configurations of dark energy, which frankly, science does not know much about at the moment.

High res images of art. Given a good enough monitor this is awesome.
