I wonder?

When I am alone I tend to put my big noise cancelling headphones on and sit there without anything playing through them, this can happen for hours and I don't even notice it.

Does anyone else do this? I am ENTP but I assume I am not the only person in the world that does this, I don't even know why I do, my exgfs thought it was funny when they would see me doing it.

Also, if anyone can reason why I may do this, I am curious to know your thoughts.

Hahahahahahaha. I'm doing that RIGHT NOW. In fact, just before I clicked this thread I thought "hmm I meant to play music a long time ago...oh well." Then, I went to play some music but got distracted by this thread. Hmm....I'm seeing a trend.

Same. From my experience, I cant really say much when there's so much going on. I just sit there with my poker face.

Exactly me, I put the headphones on, open itunes and get distracted by something else and completely forgot they are on my head.

I was wondering two things. One is, how comfortable are they to wear? Two, how well do they work? I often thought of trying some but do not know how much they cost or how well thy work....thank you

Rarely. I have a preference for silence. However. I do this when silence is not to be achieved. Or I really need to perform, and there are people chattering non stop when I need to clear my head. Then I play something appropriative. People talking/sounds is a bit like drinking. I don't notice I become dried out and reserves are emptied.

so what makes someone rational? was their strict traits which rational people "all" share? do people dismiss logic when the circumstances are at risk of change? reasoning with logic is essential for understanding our surrounding, but in my experience, it fails to address issues that have not been systematic or follow any kind of structure i.e art.
Logic usually verifies validity and consistence, yet its only consistent with what we already know, and often only valid for the a limited period as they are no absolute truths. but i still wonder, can everything be explained completely by logic itself unassisted?
