Oh hai. I've been producing bleeps and bloops since july, but have been writing my own music since probably age 8. I'd like if you all gave my soundcloud a listen. :]

Currently there's too much stress nestling itself comfortably in my brain for me to get to finishing all my unfinished things. How do you creative types get rid of the wall of "I can't do this right now"?

I find it useful to have multiple things going at once, so if I get stuck, then I can just switch to another one. If I'm tired of drawing, switch to programming, etc.

Funny you say that, I used to be on the dev team for an indie game, making the music, which was ambient-ish. Too bad it fell through

Yes, I can read and write musical notation.
I also compose plenty of music for piano, and i have made half of an orchestra piece. sadly I don't own any microphones or recording equipment, which is why electronic music is so much easier to make.

It wasn't in person it was all through the internet and skype confrences and file sharing; Basically the dev team was me, the lead programmer, and a group of roughly 15 other people. We had the entire story, character sprites, and a good chunk of maps rendered in RPGmaker, and were just starting on programming action scripts and dialogue before the lead dev abandoned the project in favor of another one, also because most of us are still in school and we didn't have enough time.
I was involved in parts of the story building and dialogue writing. I have written a total of around 11-12 songs for the game, out of probably 30, and i only had around 6 recorded.

I take myself somewhat seriously. I am a classically trained pianist since age 4. I only recently branched off into electronic music because i wanted to focus more on musical texture rather than melody/counterpoint stuff that is so ingrained in classical musicians.

That vocal sample is me, speaking into my laptop mic. I'm a cheapy mc. cheapskate.

The lyrics are "I am a thinker / Who hides behind opinions". That song is about two different people in a rather similar situation.
