Thats nice. I was just learning some Japanese language on Wondrium or just the basics of vowels anyway. I like Japanese culture.

Hip indie folk music with emotive subjective visuals. If this is seriously targeted at Japanese teenagers then that's a serious compliment considering the amount of patience and maturity required to appreciate this ad. I'm assuming here that the main consumer of energy/soft drinks are impatient, caffeine buzzed high schoolers and students.

This means that Japanese young adult / high school population are above average in terms of aesthetic growth and maturity. Certainly this looks like an ad targeted at the female population which is on average more emotionally mature, especially in the 10-25 age range, though this stays true for all age groups. Men never really catch up in maturity.

If they're not then the maker of this ad let their own biases show too much and missed the mark.

very cool, from an artistic perspective

i think they did it in multiple takes and spliced it together in editing. Probably there's a cut when she's momentarily outside the frame at 0:20, and also at 0:37 right before they do the flying thing.

not to be argumentative, im just interested in these things (i went to film school for a short period)

Nah there's a behind the scenes that show how it's all in one take.

Here:

The commentary is in Korean.

well.. at 2:33 you see she has the regular dress on, but at 2:44 she has a different one which is connected to a wire to enable the flying

so definitely not 1 take.. not that it matters for the impression it makes in the final product

in general, many long "1-take" scenes you see in movies/commercials are usually comprised of multiple takes imperceptibly spliced together using various clever techniques

in the end its a matter of perception - if the intended effect is to make it appear as 1 take, the method of achieving that doesn't matter to the viewer as long as cuts are not perceptible. The ultimate point is to create an effect where the viewer feels they are in the scene following the subject around.

I didn't realize the floor was moving, that's a lot of engineering for something that doesn't really show up much in the final video.
