Just graduated. How does being out of secondary/highschool affect your life?
My high school (yes, it is public) is not a waste of time. It's fun being an exception. No reason to ever waste your time in public high school.
My wife and I have two sons (presently, 14 and 19). Our older son started taking classes at the local community college when he was 14--one class per term. This August, he will have his associates degree. In May of 2007 he completed his GED. The class he would have graduated high school with just finished their first year of college. They'll be sophomores next year, he'll be a junior.I really advise anyone who is mature enough to get out of school a year early and just do a year of community college on a GED, and then transfer 1 year ahead.
