Really quite self-explanatory. How do you listen to music (normally or abnormally) and, if you are on a computer, what player do you use...

I HAD an iPod, but I lost it, so that ended that. Currently, all my music flows from my computer, for which I use Exaile.

I use winamp. With plugins to manipulate the sound how I want, and to speed or slow the tempo.
It does anything I require of it, but I use it mostly because I reserve WMP for video, and because shoutcast radio is free and has a wide selection.

I take my ipod almost everywhere I go, and I listen to it at home if I'm trying to induce a euphoric synesthetic experience when I'm smoking MJ.

I have a good set of speakers with a subwoofer, and I sometimes play it really loud. I mostly sign along, and don't really care if my neighbors hear me.

When I have my windows install running I'll use winamp. It's cool. (SUPPORTS EVERYTHING!)

However, I rarely use 'dows these days. (Linux)

I had the whole iTunes thing going a while back, but the whole linux things opened my eyes to the FOSS movement, so that kinda stopped. If I bought another iPod-like thingy, I'd get a Sansa, probably.

I have problems listening to music without stimming so music in public is usually out. I just use an ipod with a pair of sennheiser headphones. Nice and cushy.

Mostly on my computer. I use WinAmp because it supports essentially everything and almost completely eliminates the pause between songs which is very important to me. I generally use headphones, not very good ones just regular Koss Porta Pro. I also have an old 256 mb mp3 player that I use in school. I can fit two albums if I'm lucky. Yay.

Winamp, after the last.fm scrobbler for Windows Media Players stopped working and last.fm player refused to let me log in. Might need to search for other players with scrobbling support because the scrobbler for Winamp can't Asian characters, and quite a fair amount of songs I listen to have them.
Outside, I listen to music on a cheap Samsung mp3 player that works perfectly fine.

Edit: Just tried out Songbird and it's able to scrobble Asian characters onto last.fm without any problems so I guess I'll be sticking with it for a long time.

I use the AIMP, a Russian player and it gets a great song and my PC doesn't go down (what always happens after two or three musics in WMP). I've a cheap Samsung's cellphone with a horrible sound but it's good enough to use when I'm out of PC, sometimes I use it on streets too but I get distrated and almost broke a leg because of it...

Good question as I have got to move into the new millennium. I have been using cassette tapes for years, but the players are broken. Just poor quality ones.

I have got to set up a new system. I could use an auxiliary computer but it might need a decent sound card and speakers. I thynk I would want to use a computer system. What is the best way? My budget is limited, but I might have to bite the bullet. I might also need an easy way to get chosen tapes onto the computer and have a system where I could plug a tape player into the amplifier or equivalent.

On my computer, I use iTunes. A few people I know really don't like it, but I don't mind it. It plays music, it does its job. For on the go, I have a iPod Nano, and I just got some magnificent new headphones that I'm in love with.

I use the old Creative Media Organizer software on my comp i received with a Zen micro i bought several years ago. I really like it as it is simple. The mp3 player eventually died as i used it everyday for at least an hour. I liked it enough to go and buy a much newer mp3 player from creative but was disappointed when the software for it wasnt a media player aswell. So im forced to stick with the old, but hey whatever works.

I use the old iPod and iTunes.

I tried to avoid that for a while, using other mp3 players, but they both stopped working, so I finally gave in and I've had no problems. I preferred Winamp for the comp but for some reason it gave my comp sound issues and iTunes didn't, so that's what I use.

Loudly. I like to feel it in my bones. Unfortunately that's a bit hard on the hearing.

I used to be like that, but then I was vexxed with tinnitus, and realized I'd be deaf by 30 years old. No thank you!

I use winamp + sennheiser HD555s while on the computer, and an ipod classic when not on the computer.

Soon you'll be forced to feel it through your bones alone!

That's why I like going to rock concerts. It's not the environment, and it doesn't even have to be my favorite band. It's all about feeling the rhythm in my bones. I could even enjoy that deaf.
